The drama surrounding “Party of Five” alum and Hallmark fan-favorite Scott Wolf’s divorce from Kelley Wolf, his wife of 21 years, escalated on July 29, 2025, as she attempted to access their family home in Park City, Utah, with two Summit County police officers in tow.
Kelley filmed the incident on Instagram Live hours after claiming in an overnight Instagram post that she had “$6 to my name” and had been sleeping in her car. She also wrote that her mom “called me a drug addict this morning” despite toxicology reports from two involuntary holds in June and July that, Kelley said, proved otherwise.
The latest twists come after a judge extended Scott’s temporary custody of their kids on July 19, and exclusive rights to their home. Scott, who starred in Hallmark’s 2023 hit “A Merry Scottish Christmas” and the first season of FOX’s hit show “Doc” in 2024, dropped a restraining order against his ex on July 18 as they agreed to a new custody arrangement, per Us Weekly.
Kelley Wolf Was Locked Out of Home, But Did Access the Garage
Kelley, 48, filmed herself driving to the home where she and Scott, 57, have raised their kids, telling more than 1,000 followers who were watching live that she was about to meet a deputy from Summit County who would “escort me into my home so that I can get some money that I have saved because I now have only $6 to my name.”
Kelley, who rose to fame on MTV’s “Real World: New Orleans” in 2000, said on the video she had been banned from Sundance Mountain Resort after staying there multiple times and being removed twice for involuntary holds. A rep for the resort told EntertainmentNow, “As a matter of company policy we do not share information about any of our guests, and therefore cannot comment.”
She told her followers that was hoping to “purchase a property today and I have been closed out of all my accounts,” and added that she had a $100,000 bill to pay on her Black American Express card.
Once at the house, Kelley was met by two Summit County officers who watched as she discovered the security codes had been changed, and that the windows and doors were locked. She was able to access the garage, but the inside door to the house was locked.
Walking around the home, looking inside windows and trying to push several open while one of the officers held her phone to film her, Kelley calmly ripped one screen down. When she expressed concern she’d get in trouble for breaking and entering, one of the officers told her, “You can’t break and enter into your own home.”
After multiple attempts to get in, one officer suggested Kelley return at another time. She replied that she’d tried to coordinate visits with a court-ordered guardian but that she was “chased down the street” when she arrived.
Two hours after ending her Instagram Live without resolution at the house, Kelley accidentally went live again on Instagram, recording a video of herself talking outside a business to someone she clearly knew. When Kelley asked about filling prescriptions that had lapsed, the woman told her, “We have to meet, ’cause we have a lot to talk about.” Kelley then gasped as she realized she was recording and turned it off.
In an Instagram Story posted early on the morning of July 29, before heading to her family home, Kelley wrote, “The good news…I found the cutest house to rent when I am back to work next week and I hope I can rent it until I can get my life back. I’m pretty savvy and smart so it shouldn’t take long for me to be ‘back in fighting shape.’ Hmmm”
Scott and Kelley Wolf Agreed to a Social Media Gag Order in Mid-July
Scott and Kelley announced their impending divorce on June 10, but the weeks since have been rocky. Kelley was placed under a five-day involuntary hold at a mental health hospital on June 13, and Scott, was later granted a restraining order and temporary custody of their kids — ages 16, 12, and 11.
People reported that both parties signed an agreement on July 15 with guidelines regarding custody, including “liberal supervised” visitation rights for Kelley, coordinated in advance. The agreement also stipulated that Kelley would receive financial support of $10,000 a month, per People, and included a social media gag order that banned any mention of one another, their marriage, kids, or the divorce.
However, Kelley has addressed her divorce multiple times on social media since, including posting — and then deleting — a private text exchange with Scott on July 21 about coordinating a supervised visitation with their kids.
EntertainmentNow has reached out to Summit County Police and Kelley’s attorney for comment.
