Hallmark star Jonathan Bennett recently received an honor that got him gushing. The “Finding Mr. Christmas” host shared the news via his Instagram. In response, Bennett’s fans and colleagues expressed their excitement for him.
On December 30, Bennett shared a screenshot from the Playbill Instagram page to his Instagram Stories. The Playbill post highlighted a feature on the “Memorable Broadway Debuts of 2024.” The article featured Bennett as one of those top performers.
“Oh. My. God. I’m shook,” Bennett wrote.
He added, “Thank you @playbill for this honor of the Top 10 Broadway Debuts.”

In an Instagram post, Bennett thanked Playbill for “This honor and the kind words.” He admitted his Broadway experience “Exceeds every expectation and then some, it’s addictive. It was truly a dream come true.”
Playbill published its piece titled “Playbill Staff Favorites: 10 Memorable Broadway Performance Debuts of 2024” on December 27. The site indicated that the 10 performers it featured “dazzled” them in 2024.
The site noted 2024 had “no shortage of exceptional performers who reached a career milestone by appearing on Broadway.” That declaration suggests that those placed in the top 10 were truly exceptional performers.
As Playbill shared, Bennett made his Broadway debut in the show “Spamalot.” In the article, the writer shared, “If there was an unexpected delight this season, it was Jonathan Bennett’s Broadway debut as Sir Robin.”
“From the moment he stepped onto the stage, Bennett proved that he’s not just a TV and film personality–he’s a talented performer with great comedic timing,” Playbill’s director of social media Jeffrey Vizcaíno wrote.
