Brennan Elliott’s Wife Camilla Row Left Behind Tokens of Love & Gratitude for Her Family

Two weeks before her death on March 22, 2025, Camilla Row — wife of longtime Hallmark star Brennan Elliott — posted a photo of their children on her private Instagram account, clearly happy to see them having fun. Captioning the photo of Liam, 12, and Luna, 10, wearing Disneyland sweatshirts in front of Minnie and Mickey Mouse statues, Row wrote, “Happiest place on earth!”

The March 9 post would wind up being Row’s last, which was fitting given how devoted she was to ensuring their happiness, even as she courageously battled gastric cancer and advocated for better research, awareness, and patient care.

In addition to sharing her cancer battle on Instagram, she frequently celebrated Elliott, who’s starred in more than 20 Hallmark movies over the last decade, and their kids — leaving behind a collection of photos and writings about how proud of them and grateful for them she was.

“Our babies and I lost our rock,” Brennan wrote in an online tribute hours after her passing. “A person who not only was the love of my life, my soulmate, my best friend and lover but the toughest strongest fearless person I have ever met in my life and the greatest mother to her babies.”

Camilla Row Said Spending Quality Time With Brennan Elliott & Their Kids Was What ‘Mattered Most’ to Her

In addition to sharing the ups and downs of her cancer journey, which began in 2018 with an early-stage diagnosis, Row frequently posted photos and videos of the family she adored on her private Instagram account. She granted access to EntertainmentNOW hoping that the information and inspiration she shared would help others.

From a family outing at the California Science Center in March 2024 to her kids’ holiday piano recital in December, Row left behind words of pride and encouragement for her kids, knowing that her stage 4 diagnosis in 2022 came with a grim prognosis.

Speaking at the Hope for Stomach Cancer Patient Summit in November 2023, Row said doctors initially gave her a prognosis of 12 to 24 months with treatment. Determined to beat the odds, she found a new oncology team at City of Hope in Los Angeles, led by Dr. Yanghee Woo, and went through many aggressive and experimental interventions to extend her life and have more time with her family.

On Mother’s Day 2024, Row posted throwback Polaroid photos with her kids and wrote, “I am so blessed to have had these two choose me as their mom. By far, it is my greatest accomplishment they are growing into truly beautiful humans. Wishing my mom a very wonderful Mother’s Day as well. She is the strongest person I know and I have learned so much from her. I am so thankful I am able to celebrate another Mother’s Day with my family!”

In August, Row posted photos of Liam and Luna heading back to school and wrote, “The summer zoomed by so fast, we weren’t able to do much this summer with my recovery and treatment, but lots of quality time together. It’s what mattered to me most as I cherish every moment and every milestone I can get.”

Row also paid tribute to Elliott on their 13th wedding anniversary in September, writing, “We have had amazing years and impossibly hard years but there is no one I would rather have by my side than you. You make me feel so adored and safe, I am truly so grateful. Thank you for loving me all these years and I pray we have many many more years to continue on this adventure. I love you so much.”

Camilla Row Became a Tireless Advocate for Gastric Stomach Cancer Patients

Being diligent about researching every possible treatment option and advocating for other patients was an empowering coping mechanism for Row, she told the experts gathered at the 2023 Patient Summit. But she also credited her husband, mom, brother, and church for providing “emotional support and just psychological support” throughout her journey.

Row did a great deal of advocacy work with the nonprofit Hope for Stomach Cancer, which posted a tribute to her on March 22 that said, “Camilla was a force—a devoted mother to Luna and Liam, beloved wife to Brennan Elliott, and a fierce advocate who helped others feel seen, heard, and less alone. Her story, her strength, and her heart inspired so many.”

The post continued, “Though she’s no longer with us, Camilla’s legacy will live on in the lives she touched and the movement she helped build. We will carry her light forward in everything we do.”

Row was passionate about raising awareness about gastric cancer and getting Congress to pass the bipartisan Stomach Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Act (H.R. 9304).

Fellow patients and advocates shared how devastated they were by the news of Row’s passing, including one who wrote, “Noooooooo!!! No no no 😢💔 she was such an inspiration, I’ve looked at her for courage and bravery several times. She will be missed by so many. 😢”

“Absolutely heartbroken,” another wrote. “She lived the cancer life with such grace and positivity. It has been a privilege to know her. Sending so much love and peace to all who love her. ❤️”
