Hallmark star Andrew Walker recently teased fans with a surprise sneak peek at a filming project he’s doing. The actor’s latest gig was shared on the Hallmark Channel’s Instagram page, and fans went wild over it.
Andrew Walker Joined Filming for the Next ‘Holiday Touchdown’ Movie
After the huge success the network experienced with their 2024 film “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,” Hallmark has another collaboration in the works. Next up is “Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story,” which will involve the Buffalo Bills NFL team.
As Hallmark noted, the next movie will air during the upcoming Countdown to Christmas ahead of the 2025 holiday season. Filming is taking place in Buffalo, New York, where the NFL team is based, and some footage will feature action at Highmark Stadium.
On May 19, Hallmark made some casting announcements for the project. Holland Roden and Matthew Daddario will headline the film. In addition, Tracy Pollan, Caroline Aaron, Steve Schirripa, and Patti Murin were announced as cast members.
The network made no mention of Walker being in the film. However, he managed to join the cast anyway.
An Instagram post shared on June 13 on the network’s Instagram page revealed the fun development. “Look who it is on the set of #HolidayTouchdown: A Bills Love Story @barbilltavern! See him, @hollandroden, and so many more this #CountdowntoChristmas!”
The short video clip showed Roden sitting at the bar, and Walker turns around as he “works” as a bartender. He’s wearing a shirt for the Bar-Bill Tavern, and he notes that “we” are filming the movie.
Hallmark Fans Were Thrilled to Learn of the Cameo
Fans loved the surprise.
One fan commented, “Awww this is so exciting!!”

Someone else wrote, “I cannot wait!! I love these two and cannot wait to see this movie and all the other star appearances.”

Another post about Walker popping up at filming was shared on the Synthetic Cinema Instagram page. Walker posed with two guys from Synthetic Cinema, and all three were all smiles.
“We had a great surprise this week at Bar-Bill Tavern in East Aurora, NY – Dustin’s longtime friend Andrew Walker dropped by! What a pleasure to catch up with such a genuinely awesome guy.”
