Ree Drummond has a brand-new cookbook coming out this fall, and she’s giving her fans a sneak peek! “The Essential Recipes” is loaded with “120 greatest hits, new twists, and perfected classics.”
Ree Drummond Shares First Look at Newest Cookbook, ‘The Essential Recipes’
Drummond is back with another cookbook that’s sure to please fans. Titled “The Essential Recipes,” it’s filled with some of her best and most delicious kitchen creations. “The Pioneer Woman” star refers to the book as a “recipe bible.”
On August 15, Drummond took to Instagram to share a first look at the new cookbook.
“This was supposed to be about my new cookbook but it somehow took a left turn into micro-needling. Oh well, enjoy!” she wrote in the caption.
In the video, Drummond explained, “I just received this package … and I thought we’d open it together.” She noted how the arrival was a little less exciting than what we see in movies when an author’s book arrives wrapped in paper and tied with twine.
“Yay!” she said as she showed the cover of her new book. “It’s called ‘The Essential Recipes’ and that’s because it’s filled with all of my essential recipes!” she explained.
“Let’s do a quick flip through,” she added. “Ready?”
She flipped through the pages, then shared her favorite, “the mac and cheese recipe that I have been taunting you with.”
“In my cookbooks, I have step-by-step photos, which I have always included,” the Food Network star said. “I am a very visual person, as you can tell.”
“I’m so excited it’s here! Oh, it’s not here — it’ll be here October 28,” she added.
Ree Drummond Says It Was the ‘Hardest Cookbook for Me to Complete’
On July 16, Drummond took to Instagram to share the news of her upcoming cookbook.
“I’m so very excited. 🥹 My new cookbook, ‘The Essential Recipes,’ is finally finished after a year-and-a-half of love, labor, and a few happy tears,” she wrote. “It’ll be available this fall, and if I could sum it up in a simple phrase, it would be this: recipe bible.”
Drummond continued, “It’s packed as full as I could get it with all the beloved, most essential (hence the title!) PW recipes, but with a very important twist: Every single one of them has been re-examined, re-worked, re-tested, and turned into an even more sublime and foolproof version of themselves.”
She admitted, “It has been the hardest cookbook for me to complete because I care about these recipes SO much (I’ve made some of them for thirty years), and I couldn’t seem to stop perfecting, tasting, perfecting, tasting.”
“The Pioneer Woman” star added, “I’m so happy with how it turned out, and I can’t wait for the pages to be sauce-splattered and dog-eared! Swipe through these photos, which represent just a fraction of the recipes in the book. This cookbook is a love letter to you, to my family, and in many ways, to myself. I hope you love it.”
