'The Great Food Truck Race' 2025 Cast & Spoilers So Far

“The Great Food Truck Race” is rolling back into action, and this time, host Tyler Florence is turning up the heat. Nine ambitious teams hit the road up the Atlantic coast, battling it out with bold flavors and fierce determination for a shot at food truck fame and a $50,000 grand prize.

Florence returns to host Season 18 of “The Great Food Truck Race: Truckin’ Awesome,” which premieres on Sunday, August 3 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Fans of the show can also stream new episodes the next day on HBO Max.

For this new season, there will be nine times competing for the $50,000 prize. The teams are:

Burger Walla from Newark, New Jersey – The team members are Kai Campbell, Luis De La Cruz, and Leigh Soriano.
Cooking with Que from Detroit, Michigan. The team members are Quiana Rice, Ari Minott, and Reagan Sidney.
Eat My Biscuits from Atlanta, Georgia. The team members are Vanetta Roy, Kedric Barrett, and Chaya Conwell.
Fat Kid Food Co. from Ashland, Oregon. The team members are Chaz McKenna, Tristan Keroles, and Tristan “Milkshake” Compton.
G’s Cheesesteaks from Staten Island, New York. The team members are Jack Pisano, Derek Booras, and Antonio Locke.
Good Fortune Company from Memphis, Tennessee. The team members are Arturo Leighton, Sarah Cai, and Christopher Fuse.
Nishaan from Brooklyn, New Yor. The team members are Zeeshan Bakhrani, Naoufal Bahloul, and Vidya Velayutham.

‘The Great Food Truck Race’ Season 18 Spoilers

The teams on “The Great Food Truck Race” 2025 will be competing in an action-packed, eight-city route that will kick off in Savannah, Georgia. That premiere episode will feature a challenge with the Savannah Bananas, followed by a shocking surprise during the first elimination of the season.

For the two-hour season premiere on August 3, Florence will welcome the teams to Savannah, Georgia. The teams will be put to the test of needing to hit a culinary home run in a banana-themed challenge handed to them by the viral baseball team, the Savannah Bananas. An intense sales day leads to three teams fighting to stay in the race.

Other episodes of “The Great Food Truck Race” 2025 include guest chef judges Kardea Brown and Rodney Scott in Charleston, South Carolina, and a chance to dash around Darlington Raceway and cook for NASCAR’s Mamba Smith and Todd Gilliland.

Food Network states the season finale will take place on September 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. During “The Great Food Truck Race” 2025 finale, the two remaining teams will compete in a sales frenzy to feed the sailors of a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier at Naval Station Norfolk. Only one can be crowned “Great Food Truck Race” champion and win the $50,000 grand prize.
