Fan-Favorite Show Set to Return to Food Network

Food Network holiday specials are the comfort food of TV, and “Beat Bobby Flay: Holiday Throwdown” is officially back on the menu. Yep, Bobby himself just confirmed it during a casual Instagram Q&A. According to People, when a fan asked about its return, he responded, “Yes… Holiday Beat is coming back. It’s always a blast! Short, sweet, and exactly the energy we needed to kick off the countdown to cozy season.

“Beat Bobby Flay” has aired more than 40 seasons since its 2013 debut. But the Holiday version of the show originally premiered in 2022 and has quickly become a holiday go-to for fans who love food, festive vibes, and watching Flay try not to get absolutely smoked in themed cookoffs.

Festive Chaos and Familiar Faces? We’re In

These aren’t your standard “Beat Bobby Flay” episodes either. The “Holiday Throwdown” version cranks the chaos up to eleven with holiday-themed challenges, surprise ingredients, and a mix of Food Network faves like Eddie Jackson, Ina Garten, Sunny Anderson, Tiffani Faison, Tiffany Derry, Jet Tila, Antonia Lofaso and Eric Adjepong who appeared on past iterations (People).

Each hour-long episode leans into the festive drama… think gingerbread, peppermint, roast beasts, and plenty of good-natured roasting (of each other, not just the food). And yes, Bobby Flay is still the one to beat.

Three seasons have aired so far, and fans love the mix of high-stakes culinary battles with holiday sparkle. If you’re someone who decorates in October and thinks “competitive baking” should be an Olympic sport, this one’s for you.

It’s Giving Holiday Tradition… With a Side of Sass

There’s a reason “Holiday Throwdown” keeps coming back. It’s not just the recipes or the celeb chefs; it’s the vibe. It feels like you’re at a chaotic holiday party where someone just challenged the host to a cook-off and half the guests are Food Network legends.

Bobby Flay clearly knows fans love this version just as much as the OG series. His excitement (i.e. “It’s always a blast!”) makes it sound like he’s just as ready to deck the kitchen halls as we are.

While there’s no exact premiere date yet, history tells us it’ll likely hit screens around November or December. So prep your stretchy pants, grab the remote, and get ready for another round of holiday-flavored smackdowns.

In the meantime, fans can catch up on all the episodes of “Beat Bobby Flay,” including “Holiday Throwdown,” on Hulu.
