A former contestant from “Dancing with the Stars” is expanding her family and she just revealed the sweet news to her fans. Season 19 DWTS runner-up Sadie Robertson and her husband, Christian Huff, are expecting their third child.
Sadie Robertson & Christian Huff Are Excited & Grateful
On February 14, Robertson shared the baby news in an Instagram post. She wrote, “Our hearts are so full 🥹 another little love joining the Huff family. 🤍”
Robertson included four photos with her post. They were all in black and white and included the couple’s two daughters and Huff.
As People noted, Robertson and Huff welcomed their oldest child, Honey James, in May 2021. Their second daughter, Haven Belle, arrived in May 2023.
Huff and Robertson got engaged in June 2019 and wed in 2020.
After revealing the baby Huff news, Robertson answered a string of fan questions via her Instagram Stories.
She revealed this pregnancy was “a biggggg surprise” and admitted she and Huff were “totally shocked. They were not trying for a third child, but they are “beyond grateful and excited!”
“We know God’s plan is better than ours, but it was wild to process, ha!”
The Robertson family is filming a new show, which will be titled “Duck Dynasty: The Revival.” She told fans, “We literally found out [about the pregnancy] the first week of filming the new show! Everything in life felt so crazy and so new!”
The couple did find out the gender of this third baby. However, fans will have to wait until the new show starts airing to find out. A fan asked if everybody would see pregnancy content on “Duck Dynasty: The Revival,” and Robertson replied, “Ohhh yes.”
She added, “We filmed the gender reveal and me telling family members! I won’t be sharing those videos on socials until you see them on the show.”
The photo she included with the reply showed the extended family gathered together with a film crew present. Several family members wore pink, which perhaps signaled that many thought Huff and Robertson would be having a third girl.
The DWTS Star’s Baby Is Due in August
Another fan asked Robertson if they planned to use a name beginning with an “H” for their third child. She replied, “We have an H name that we love, but we also have another name that we equally love that doesn’t start with an H! Going to just keep thinking and praying on it until we know.”
Robinson noted that the new show is slated to begin airing at the end of May. She is due with this third baby in the middle of August.
She posted a selfie showing her slight baby bump and noted she was thrilled to be entering her second trimester this week. “Thankful for some more energy coming back my way,” she shared.
In another Instagram Story, Robertson explained she’d had “really rough” morning sickness in the early weeks of this pregnancy.
The morning sickness has been better than what she experienced with her first two kids, though. “I didn’t get any relief with my first two until about week 25 so I am VERY thankful for this,” she wrote.
