Former DWTS Pro Moving on After Heartbreak: ‘Needed Lighter Energy’

Former “Dancing With the Stars” pro Allison Holker is opening up about the aftermath of Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ death.

Holker has come a long way since her husband was found dead by suicide in December 2022, just two weeks before Christmas. A big part of her healing journey was moving into a new house with her three kids.

“I was starting to feel so heavy carrying all these emotions and memories in my last home. It was a big moment for our family to decide together that we were going to move forward,” she told People magazine. “I knew that we needed lighter energy around us, and when we got here everyone felt like they could take a fresh breath for the first time in a really long time,” she added.

In October 2023, Holker listed her Encino, California, home she shared with Boss for nearly $3.8 million, per TMZ. The home sold for $3.5 million about a month later.

In January 2024, Holker spoke to People magazine about the home that she and her family moved into.

“It was such a great move for my whole family,” she said. “It’s got such great energy about it and everyone just feels like they can breathe here. It’s beautiful, it feels like us and a new us, a new version of who we are,” she continued.

“You know me, I’m a fast mover, so I was like, we got in here, everything was moved in the first week. Everyone’s been moved in and very happy about it.” She added that each of the kids had a say in their room’s decoration, as she “let everyone pick their own bedding,” she added.

According to the Daily Mail, Holker’s new 6,000 square-foot abode 6,000 features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a wine room, movie theater, home gym, and a guest house.

“Really this house, when we moved in, it was a chance to start over and find who we are now, and it’s been absolutely lovely,” she told People.

Allison Holker Has Moved on Romantically

In addition to buying a new home and moving forward with her family in that way, Holker has also opened herself up to love again.

Two years after Boss’ death, Holker went public with a new relationship. She’s dating tech CEO Adam Edmunds.

On August 28, 2024, she took to Instagram to share a photo of two shadows holding hands. She added a red heart emoji as the caption.

“I never knew that I could have this again,” Holker told Us Weekly in an article published in September 2024.

“I actually feel like I found such a great love and support system from someone. We understand each other and we’re so supportive of each other. He’s just someone that stepped into my life, and it’s been so beautiful and lovely,” she added.
