Die-hard Swifties now have a chance to live like their personal idol, Taylor Swift, by renting her former Manhattan home.
The West Village townhouse was even the subject of one of Swift’s songs!
The four story, seven-bathroom, four-bedroom townhouse in lower Manhattan is tucked away on Cornelia Street, which just so happens to be the name of a song on Swift’s 2019 “Lover” album.
Swift sold the townhome for $12 milllion the same year the album dropped.
Now, according to the New York City Dreamscapes Instagram account, that same townhome is available for rent by the Corcoran Group.
Take a Tour of Taylor Swift’s Former NYC Digs
New York City Dreamscapes posted a video on its Instagram account taking fans on a virtual tour of the townhome.
The caption reads, “Calling all Swifties 🚨
•
The apartment that inspired one of Taylor Swift’s most emotional songs is officially up for rent — and it’s just as romantic, moody, and magical as the lyrics made it sound ✨ Tucked away on a quiet West Village block, this four-story townhouse is full of charm: arched doorways, dreamy skylights, and a private pool hiding underground 🛁🌙
You can almost imagine her walking those creaky steps, writing by candlelight, and staring out at the street that would end up in a song. For Swifties, this isn’t just a rental — it’s a piece of folklore in real life 💌 And yes… you would never walk Cornelia Street again.”
That last line, as any true Swifty will tell you, comes straight out of Swift’s song “Cornelia Street.”
The lyrics read, “And I hope I never lose you, hope it never ends
I’d never walk Cornelia Street again
That’s the kind of heartbreak time could never mend
I’d never walk Cornelia Street again”
Taylor Swift Is Nowhere Near NYC Right Now
Whether Taylor Swift actually ever will walk Cornelia Street again remains to be seen. But we do know she’s nowhere near there right now.
The superstar singer was spotted Friday, June 6 at the wedding of boyfriend Travis Kelce’s cousin Tanner Corum, who tied the knot with Samantha Peck in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Several TikTokers posted video and pictures of Swift wearing a strapless blue floral patterned dress from Markarian, which is listed for $1,995 on their website.
The video shows Swift and Kelce playfully dancing at their table while they watch the bride and groom dance at the rustic-themed wedding.
Cornelia Street Stay Comes At Steep Price
The Corcoran Group, which is handling the rental, posted the NYC townhome on TikTok.
The caption reads, “Taylor Swift’s former Cornelia Street Townhouse is available for rent. Taylor said she’d ‘never walk Cornelia Street again’ but that doesn’t mean you can’t! Learn more by checking out the link the bio.”
Followers were quick to note that the rent appears to be $78,000 a month. In fact, one commented, “I need 77 roommates!”
