Riley Green Delivers Stunning Duet With Surprise Partner

Riley Green and Ella Langley have delivered another memorable duet with “Don’t Mind if I Do.” As American Songwriter reported, the song quickly went platinum, and fans seemingly can’t get enough. Of course, Langley isn’t always on hand to perform the duet live, so Green occasionally relies on stand-ins. At this summer’s York State Fair in Pennsylvania, the country music singer blew audiences away with a surprise duet partner: an ultra-talented fan from the audience.

In a now-viral TikTok video from the concert, the brave fan, Rachel Martin, takes the stage alongside Green for the popular song. The audience cheered her on throughout the clip, but they weren’t the only ones stunned by Martin’s impromptu performance. The video racked up over 300,000 likes and over 2,500 comments, many of which praise the Pennsylvania native for her poise and talent. “The way she killed it and doesn’t sound nervous at all,” one fan wrote. The incredible moment has now accumulated millions of views.

Martin Shared Her Feelings About Taking The Stage With Green

Martin’s duet with Green was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and she shared her feelings about it with her local ABC News station. “It was kind of not real to me,” Martin said. “It feels like just a dream, something that didn’t actually happen.” According to Martin, it all started with a sign. Since Green has invited fans on stage before, she thought she would try her luck at the concert by holding up an attention-grabbing sign. The “Worst Way” singer saw the sign and let Martin try singing a line of the song from the audience. Clearly, she impressed him.

The Pennsylvania native may not be experienced with singing in front of large concert crowds, but she’s not a complete amateur. Martin sings in church, where she has honed her talent. Her mother, Amanda, said she is shocked by just how many people have viewed the TikTok clip. “I saw singing in her future, but didn’t imagine that there would be that many people that would see her,” she said.

The Country Singer Still Has Plenty of Performing to do

There may be more Rachel Martins in Green’s future, as he still has plenty of tour dates left for the year. He plans to continue traveling across North America until early September. Then, Green will head across the pond for a sold-out U.K. leg of the tour. As of this publication, he has live performances scheduled through the rest of the year, wrapping up with a two-day stop at Resorts World Las Vegas in mid-December.
