Morgan Wallen has been hard at work on his “I’m The Problem” tour for summer 2025. However, he still took time to surprise a young fan with an unforgettable moment at a California concert in August. An audience member posted a TikTok video from the event in which the sometimes-controversial country music star says hello to a 10-year-old fan via FaceTime.
Wallen takes another audience member’s phone and says, “What’s up, buddy?” to the little boy on the screen. “Unreal experience. Thank you,” the video poster wrote in the caption. Fans in the comments section praised this thoughtful move from Wallen. “That kid will love that moment forever,” one fan wrote. “This is why he will always be my favorite!” another said. The show took place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
Wallen Frequently Makes Time for Young Fans

This heartwarming moment is far from the first time Wallen has shown young fans some extra love. As Taste of Country reported, the singer stopped on the side of a road to take a photo and sign an autograph for a young girl and her father. “From a father, thank you,” the girl’s dad said, adding that the experience was now a highlight of her year.
The singer also supports young fans through the Morgan Wallen Foundation, such as when he partnered with Make-A-Wish in 2024. Before taking the stage in Kansas City, Missouri, in August of that year, Wallen had a one-on-one meet and greet with a young boy who was battling a heart condition. Once on stage, the singer paid special acknowledgement to him. “I met with a little boy who has been going through a super hard time in life lately, right before the show,” he told the audience. “And I told him I would shout him out at some point during the show, so I’m going to do that right now.” The boy’s family later expressed their gratitude for the unique experience.
The Singer Is a Father Himself

As many fans know, Wallen has plenty of experience with young children thanks to being a father himself. He has one son, who turned five in July 2025. In May 2022, Wallen opened up about how becoming a father impacted his life, telling Entertainment Tonight that it changed his outlook.
“Just seeing that I have another life that I’m responsible for kind of put things into perspective for me, so, I just didn’t really have a choice,” he said. He also explained that being a father helped him grow as a person. Wallen shares his son with ex-girlfriend KT Smith.
