When Kenny Chesney first embarked on his Sphere Las Vegas residency, he was the first country music star to do so. Now, the groundbreaking residency is nearing its conclusion, with only two weeks’ worth of performances left. To celebrate, Chesney took to Instagram with a stunning highlight reel.
The reel shows off some of the stunning kaleidoscopic visuals from Chesney’s shows, something that sets the unique venue apart from others on the Strip. “Sphere Vegas has been one of the wildest rides of our lives as a road family,” Chesney wrote in the post’s caption. “We have two more weeks to enjoy this magic carpet ride.”
Footage of The Show’s Visuals Has Made The Rounds on Social Media

Several other outlets (and even some fans) have shared their own gorgeous views of the spectacle inside Sphere. For example, Music Mayhem shared a video from a May show that features swirling colors and special photos of Chesney alongside friends and fellow singers.
The visuals were meant to mimic a pinball machine, and they were definitely successful. Another equally stunning video features skull-themed images swirling overhead, eliciting cheers from the excited crowd below.
Chesney Has Also Stunned Fans With Special Guests
GettyThe dazzling visual effects aren’t the only thing that has wowed Sphere audiences during this residency; Chesney has also surprised fans with multiple special guests. For instance, Chesney brought out pal Kelsea Ballerini on opening night, treating fans to a performance of “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” and two other songs.
As the singer’s official website reported, he later invited Megan Moroney to the Sphere stage. “No one has more fun onstage than Megan Moroney,” Chesney said after their shared performance. “She doesn’t just radiate joy up there, she makes everybody want to experience the amount of fun she is clearly having.” Based on his track record of bringing fellow musicians along for the Sphere ride, it’s likely fans can expect even more special guests to join Chesney as his residency winds down this month.
