Trisha Yearwood may be the one with the cooking show, but it looks like Garth Brooks will be the one holding the spatula on the 4th of July.
The country power couple posted a hilarious video on Instagram showing Garth Brooks at the grill cooking hot dogs. He yells to wife Trisha Yearwood, who is sitting outside on a lawn chair, “Hey honey, what are we doing for the 4th of July?” Trisha responds, “Well, from the looks of you, we’re cooking out.”
“Of course we’re cookin’ out!,” exclaims Garth, gesturing to his apron. “How many people are we having over? That’s what I’m asking.”
Trisha replies, “I don’t know, how about a quarter of a million?”

The funny post is actually a plug for Garth Brooks’ Friends in Low Places Bar and Honky Tonk in Nashville, Tennessee.
In the caption to the video, Garth writes, “Free hotdogs on the rooftop? You bet. Starting at 2PM on the 4th of July, @friendsbarnash is giving out FREE hotdogs UNTIL WE RUN OUT — and yes, we mean it. No rules. Just buns, dogs, and the grill. 🌭🇺🇸

The honky tonk on Nashville’s famed Broadway boasts a rooftop bar (called the Oasis of course!) with spectacular views of Nashville’s annual 4th of July fireworks, which is one of the largest in the nation.
Nashville’s ‘Let Freedom Sing’ 4th of July Features Big Names
Whether or not country music fans in Nashville get a hot dog grilled by Garth Brooks himself on the 4th of July, they’ll certainly have no shortage of opportunities to take in a little star power.
A big part of Music City’s 4th of July celebration each year is its free “Let Freedom Sing” concert.
This year. according to Visit Music City, Dierks Bentley will headline the concert.
Other performers include Russell Dickerson, Niko Moon, Grace Bowers, Keesha Rainey, Walker Montgomery and Charlie Worsham, among others.
And the Nashville Symphony will provide the live music to accompany the fireworks themselves, as they do every year.
Trisha Yearwood Surprises Fans With Impromptu Performance
Meanwhile, some patrons of Garth Brooks’ honky tonk “Friends in Low Places” didn’t have to wait for the 4th of July to soak up some star power from the famous couple.
Trisha Yearwood took the stage at her husband’s bar June 10th to surprise fans with a rendition of her classic hit “She’s In Love With the Boy.” Fans captured the performance and posted it on TikTok.
Trisha has been on a mini-tour ahead of her new album “The Mirror,” which drops July 18.
It’s the singer’s first album where she co-wrote and co-produced every single track.
In an Instagram post announcing the album, 60-year-old Trisha wrote, “This is a new chapter for me and one I cannot wait to share with you… I am so proud of this record and hope you love it as much as I loved creating it. xoxo”
