Cody Jinks: Where You Can Get a Taste of His Upcoming Album

After releasing his album, “Change the Game,” in 2024, singer-songwriter Cody Jinks has wasted no time getting back in the studio. The country music star recently announced that his next album, “In My Blood,” is already in the works and will hit the airwaves later this year. In an email to Billboard, Jinks shared the significance of “In My Blood,” calling it a “part two” for his story:

“I think that ‘Change the Game’ was the final chapter in part one of my writing and I just opened up part two. Kind of like how an author like Stephen King has part one that has 10 chapters, and then there’s part two. So, I think ‘In My Blood’ starts part two. That’s how I feel about this record. It’s a very, very reflective record, and hopefully optimistic about the future as well.”

Fans who were excited about the album announcement didn’t have to wait long for new music. According to Saving Country Music, official fan club members got access to the first single, “Found,” on April 30, the same day as the announcement. Billboard also shared an album preview on May 1st.

As of May 2nd, the song is now available on Spotify for everyone to enjoy. Apple Music listeners can also check out the song on that platform, which also shows the album’s full track list. “In My Blood” will include 11 new songs, many of which Jinks wrote himself.

Jinks Announced the YouTube Premiere of the Song’s Official Music Video

In addition to the streaming release, Jinks also announced that the music video for “Found” will make its debut on YouTube today, May 2nd. The singer took to Instagram with a post on May 1, 2025, telling fans they can catch the new video at 12:00PM CST for the premiere. The singer also invited fans to take part in a live chat when the video airs.

Fans in the comments section were supportive of the announcement, responding with plenty of heart and fire emojis. One called Jinks the “best country singer ever,” and others said they couldn’t wait for the full album release. “In My Blood” will officially drop on July 25, 2025.
