In an Instagram post that shows a picture of a loved-up smiling Carly with a blue-eyed, handsome man, Carly writes, “I guess this is what the kids call a “hard launch” these days… 🤭♥️”
While most fans and friends expressed excitement for Carly’s new love, one commented, “Is this the drummer? You two go together, lovely pic.”
Carly was quick to jump back on her post to clarify, replying to the comment with, “y’all. I haven’t been linked to my drummer in over a year. People date, break up & move on. Let’s try to do that 🙂”
Another fan was also quick to correct the commenter, writing, “they Haven’t been together for over a year. he left the band”
What We Know About Carly Pearce’s New Love
While Carly Pearce did not reveal her boyfriend’s name or anything about him, super sleuth fans were quick to identify him as Jordan Karcher.
Karcher’s private Instagram account lists him as an Entrepreneur, the Founder/CEO of Shop with Eileen, the Founder of Grounds and Hounds and a Dog Rescue Advocate.
Shop with Eileen is an app that offers shoppers cash back in return for tracking their purchases.
Grounds and Hounds is a coffee company. It funnels a portion of profits from every sale to support animal rescue organizations.
Taste of Country reports that Karcher holds an MBA from Notre Dame University.
Carly Pearce Says She’s Learned to Keep Relationships Private
Carly Pearce has been careful in recent years to keep her romantic life private.
The singer was linked with her then-drummer BC Taylor. But as Carly herself pointed out in the Instagram post about her new relationship, they have been broken up more than a year.
According to People, the “I Hope You’re Happy Now” singer dated Nashville real estate businessman Riley King prior to her relationship with Taylor.
And before that, Carly had a brief marriage to fellow country artist Michael Ray. The pair were married for just eight months from 2019 to 2020.
Carly told People that the failed marriage taught her to keep her private life more private. She said, “Now that I’ve had a failed marriage and a failed relationship in the spotlight, I have learned we keep this one very quiet.”
Carly has also been transparent about her focus on her career, saying that is her true life’s passion.
“I am really OK if children do not happen for me, meaning this is what I’ve wanted more,” she told People. “My career is what I dreamt of.”
