Lily-Rose Depp has a streaming hit on her hands with the success of her buzzworthy horror film “Nosferatu.”

The 2024 release, which premiered in theaters on Christmas Day, is a vampire-themed horror mystery. Depp’s version is a remake of 1922’s “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror” which was inspired by Brom Stoker’s 1897 novel, “Dracula.”
Depp is joined in the film by costars Nicholas Hoult, Bill Skarsgård, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Willem Dafoe.
“Nosferatu” Became a Box Office Success Before Peacock Streaming Premiere
Deadline reported in January 2025 that the film, released by Focus Features, had become the studio’s second highest grossing movie ever, only being blocked from the top spot by the 2005 megahit “Brokeback Mountain” starring Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal.
The Numbers reported that the movie grossed $178 million internationally against its $50 million budget.
Up against Searchlight’s “A Complete Unknown,” for its Christmas Day release, “Nosferatu” impressively outperformed the hugely awaited Timothee Chalamet flick by a significant margin, according to Collider.
Lily Depp’s “Nosferatu” Is #1 Streamed Movie on Peacock
FlixPatrol reported that as of February 24, 2025, the film was in the #1 spot on NBCUniversal’s streaming service, Peacock. Depp is to be congratulated on her streaming success. The high Peacock views represent a complete 180 from the ratings of “The Idol,” a 2023 HBO Max series starring Lily-Rose Depp and The Weeknd, which stumbled in numbers.
The Weeknd, who recently completed a trilogy of albums by dropping the highly anticipated project “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” said in 2023 that he was unsurprised by the show’s lack of a warm reception from critics. The artist, who sometimes goes by his legal name Abel Tesfaye, told Variety, “We’re playing with genres with this show, we’re doing exactly what we wanted to do.”
He went on to say that none of the backlash was a surprise, before adding that he was “excited for everyone to watch the rest of the show.”

How To Stream “Nosferatu”
To view “Nosferatu,” fans can download the streaming app Peacock here. The movie is included with a subscription. Plans begin at $7.99 and can be cancelled at anytime, according to a message on the service’s homepage.
