Everything Tom Schwartz and Lala Kent Have Said About Their Dating Potential

“The Valley” co-stars Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz are no strangers to Bravo fan speculation—but recent dating rumors have taken things to a whole new level. From podcast confessions to headlines claiming they’re living together, both Kent and Schwartz are finally setting the record straight.

Tom Schwartz and Lala Kent Address the Chemistry Talk

Lala Kent, 34, and Tom Schwartz, 42, may have undeniable chemistry on screen, but according to both of them, it stops at friendship. During the June 23 episode of Kent’s podcast, “Give Them Lala”, the “Vanderpump Rules” alum opened up about how frequently fans bring up the idea of her and Schwartz dating—especially during season 11.

“Can I tell you, Schwartzy, we got this so much [‘Vanderpump Rules’] season 11,” Kent said. “And I didn’t realize it because I avoid the comment section, but it was every time I went on a podcast… People always said that.”

Kent admitted she has a “very soft spot” for Schwartz and even revealed that if she had to pick one “Vanderpump Rules” castmate to father her daughters Ocean and Sosa, it would be him. “I don’t feel like you’d give me a hard time,” she said. Schwartz responded with a laugh: “I’m so easy!”

Despite the mutual affection, Kent was quick to clarify that she doesn’t believe they’d make a great match romantically. “I feel like I would be way too high-strung and intense for you,” she said, to which Schwartz replied, “Remember, these were your words, you would chew me up. No, I think you said, ‘I eat pieces of (expletive) like you for breakfast.’”

Even so, fans have continued to ship the pair. “If he and La date, it could work!” one commenter wrote. Another added, “I’m so here for it.”

‘Hard Launch?’ The Former ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Stars Laugh Off Tabloid Drama

The dating speculation kicked into overdrive after a tabloid ran a story suggesting Kent was living with Schwartz—and might even be pregnant with his child. Kent addressed the wild headline on the July 1 episode of Schwartz’s “Detox Retox” podcast.

“What the (expletive) is going on?” Kent asked, noting the article used a photo of her while pregnant. “It looks like I’m also carrying your baby. I’m sweating.”

Schwartz jokingly called the situation a “hard launch,” but admitted the story caught even his closest friends off guard. “I wake up today, and the first thing I see from my dear friend is a text. ‘Hit me up! What’s up with you and Lala?’” he said. “And then I got another text from somebody else.”

The two joked about their lifestyle differences, with Kent pointing out they might be more compatible if Schwartz had less of a social life—or if she had more of one. Schwartz agreed, saying, “I love staying in, by the way. There’s nothing I enjoy more in this world than staying in and cocooning. I love being in my bed, cozy.”

Ultimately, Kent emphasized that romance just isn’t on her mind right now. “I haven’t thought about men in a romantic way in a very long time,” she said. “I feel like it will come one day when it’s supposed to… I could be fine by myself.”
