Amanda Batula would like to see a Bravo OG move into the ”Summer House.”
In a May 2025 interview with Parade, the swimsuit designer revealed that she could see former “Vanderpump Rules” cast member Tom Schwartz as a cast member on the Hamptons-based reality show. Schwartz had made several cameos on ‘Summer House” over its nine-season run, and he is friends with several of the main cast members.
“People were loving Tom Schwartz coming to the house,” Batula told the outlet. “I mean, he was great. We did ‘Winter House’ with him. He’s come to the house before, so he just really seamlessly fits in, and I think he really enjoyed himself, and he’s hilarious.”
“I could see that being a good fit for sure. And he’s single, I think, and we love a single guy,” Batula added of the 42-year-old bar owner.
Tom Schwartz Loved Spending Time With the ‘Happy’ Summer House’ Family

Schwartz is not currently attached to a TV show. In late 2024, Bravo announced a complete reboot of “Vanderpump Rules” with an entirely new cast for season 12. The move came amid changes to the original cast’s dynamic in the aftermath of the Scandoval cheating scandal.
When Schwartz joined the “Summer House” gang during filming last August, it seemingly made him miss what he used to have on “Vanderpump Rules.”
In a scene shot for season 9, he told Paige DeSorbo and Ciara Miller to appreciate their cast. “I just want to say thanks for letting me into your happy little world. You’ve got to cherish this,” he told the “Summer House” veterans on the April 30 episode. “I used to have a happy family in L.A. and now everyone hates each other. We all hate each other. You’ve got to cherish this, it’s very sacred.”
“We’re in complete disarray,” Schwartz added of his former castmates, which included Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney, Scheana Shay, James Kennedy, and Lala Kent.
Amanda Batula Previously Suggested ‘Summer House’ Could Use Some Younger Cast Members

While Batula would welcome Schwartz to the “Summer House’ cast, she has indicated that the show could also use some younger cast members.
In an interview with Teen Vogue, Batula, 33, admitted, “It’s fun having younger people in the house. …I feel like it keeps me young and in the know, but I think that there’s a world where people need to, like, graduate out.”
“We need the freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, [class]. And we need some more freshmen for sure,” the “Summer House” OG added.
