West Wilson speculated that the cast for ”Summer House” could feature a major change.
On February 24, the Bravo TV personality spoke out on Jason Tartick’s “Trading Secrets” podcast and was asked whether he thinks original cast member Lindsay Hubbard will be back this summer. Hubbard, 38, welcomed her first baby with boyfriend Turner Kufe in December 2024.
“Pregnant Lindsay, I loved her, she was so fun,” Wilson said of his co-star. When asked about Hubbard’s returning to the show now that she’s a mom, he speculated, “There’s no way, I don’t know, unless they bring the baby.”
“I don’t think I can babysit,” he added with a laugh. “I don’t know how that works.”
Hubbard has been a cast member on “Summer House” since its debut in 2016 along with her former fiancé Carl Radke and co-star Kyle Cooke. She is the first cast member to announce a pregnancy while living in the Hamptons party house.
Lindsay Hubbard Has Not Ruled Out a Return to ‘Summer House’
While Wilson thinks Hubbard could be out this summer, the new mom hasn’t ruled out a return. In October 2024, two months before her baby daughter Gemma was born, Hubbard admitted to Us Weekly that it would be “a little strange” if she and her then-8-month-old child “showed up to the Summer House” in 2025.
“I wouldn’t necessarily put it past me, but no, I definitely think that it’s going to be a different summer for me moving forward,” she admitted. “I don’t really know what that looks like yet, and there’s a lot of conversation around that exact sentiment.”
But during a February 2025 interview on Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap,” Hubbard told hosts Lauren Herbert and Emily Orozco that she’s open to “any and all” opportunities for reality TV.
Hubbard told Entertainment Tonight that she “obviously” won’t bring her baby to the shared house in the Hamptons, but she noted that filming also takes place in New York City, where she lives year-round.
“We have, the last couple of years we’ve filmed a lot in the city,” she told the outlet. “So, you know, not me maybe living in the house with my eight-month-old daughter but I do think that you know we leave a lot of room open for someone who’s in a transitional point in their life,” she added.
West Wilson Said the ‘Summer House’ Cast Won’t Know Their Status Until Right Before Filming Starts

Filming for “Summer House’ usually begins right around the 4th of July. In the interview with Tartick, Wilson said no one knows their status on the show until shortly before cameras go up.
“It’s like last minute,” the “Summer House” star said, noting that he doesn’t get nervous about his fate. “No, because then once you start like caring or like needing to be on it then I think you, like, lose yourself. Like, if I started worrying like I hope I want to be on next season then I would probably act differently in the house.”
