Salley Carson has revealed that she is single once again. The “Southern Charm” newcomer is no longer dating Andrew Dietz, the boyfriend she was seeing while filming the 10th season of the Bravo reality show.
Carson dropped the update about her relationship with the fitness trainer during a Q&A on her Instagram stories on January 19. After a fan asked, “Are you still with Andrew?” Carson replied, “No!”
Carson did not share any details on the reason for the split or when it took place. The two were dating during filming for “Southern Charm’s” 10th season last spring and summer. And things were serious enough that Dietz claimed he had his own key to Carson’s house.
In September 2024, Dietz posed with Carson at The Windjammer Beach Club and they appeared to be very much together.

“Southern Charm” viewers got an inside look at Carson’s relationship with Dietz when she threw a housewarming party in the season 10 episode “Making a Splash.”
“Andrew is not my usual type,” the spine surgery robot operator admitted an episode confessional. “I’m typically with a businessman, I feel like. You know, really aggressive? But Andrew wants to communicate everything and talk so soft. I don’t know. I love that my type’s changing.”
Carson also noted that she and Dietz started out as “best friends“ and that he helped her get through her breakup with Gaston Rojas, whom she claimed said “I love you” to her. “We bonded over it. And, yeah, now we’re dating,” she said in the season 10 episode.
Rojas is now the boyfriend of Carson’s co-star Taylor Ann Green.
Salley Carson Was Once Engaged & Was Also a Contestant on ‘The Bachelor’
ABCCarson was previously engaged to a neurosurgeon named Avery Buchholz, according to Us Weekly. The engagement ended in 2021 shortly before she signed on to Clayton Echard’s season of “The Bachelor.” Carson self-eliminated ahead of the limo entrances because she was still mourning her broken engagement.
She also appeared on “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2022 but quit the dating show early because she began talking to her ex again.
She later became involved with Rojas, but also claimed to have had a fling with “Southern Charm” veteran Shep Rose. “Taylor’s new boyfriend is my ex,” she said in another season 10 episode. “And, like, I slept with Shep,” she added.
Carson was also involved in a mini love triangle with “Southern Hospitality” star Joe Bradley when she appeared on that show in 2024. After Bradley found out that Carson made out with Rojas ahead of their planned date, he joked to Us Weekly that her past stint on “The Bachelor” should “have been the first red flag.”
Carson has made it clear that she is an independent woman and doesn’t have to rely on a man for anything. After dishing on “Southern Charm” that she brings in about $400,00 per year after all is said and done, Carson shared that she was happy to invest in a home for herself. “I know no matter what happens in any relationship I’m in that I’ll be OK,” she said.
