Kyle Richards revealed she has yet to see Mauricio Umansky’s new condo, despite being invited multiple times.
On December 3, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star addressed the situation on the “RHOBH After Show” months after her estranged husband moved out of their Encino home and into a West Hollywood condo.
“I have yet to go to his place,” Richards said on the After Show. “He’s invited me a number of times, actually. It just hasn’t worked out yet, not for any particular reason. I’ve been out of town for certain things, I had plans. And then the Jewish holidays just passed, and he was like, ‘Can you come over and we’ll do the holidays at my house?’ I was like, ‘I have more space here, you’ll have to rent tables.’ So, I’ve been still hosting the Jewish holiday dinners with his family.”
“It’s like in those moments we’re just family,” Richards added.
Richards previously told E! News that her separation from her husband of 28 years would not affect their holiday traditions with their daughters, Farrah, 36, Alexia, 28, Sophia, 24, and Portia,16. “Oh yeah, we’ll see each other during the holidays,” she told the outlet in November. “You know, we are a family. We have our daughters together. So, we’ll see each other during the holidays for sure.”
Kyle Richards Was Surprised That Mauricio Made Such a Permanent Move
Richards and Umansky announced their separation in July 2023 but they continued to live together at their Encino estate for months afterwards. In May 2024, Us Weekly reported that Umansky purchased a luxury condo in West Hollywood, California.
On the 14th season of RHOBH, Richards said her husband signed a six-month lease for a “bachelor pad” as a temporary transition. She assumed because Umansky was in the real estate business that he would just have the condo staged with furniture instead of buying new pieces.
In the RHOBH episode titled “Life’s a Beach,” Richards said ina confessional, “He decided to buy the furniture, which of course, is more permanent. So, then I thought, oh, well, this does not seem very temporary.”
“He said, ‘I need to do this. I’m gonna move out for six months and we’ll figure it out,’” she elaborated on the After Show. “So, it was a ‘take it from there’ type of thing. And then all of a sudden, he’s buying stuff. I’m like, you’re buying another bed, another desk — so I was like, ‘this feels like you went into that thinking that thinking this is [permanent].’”
Kyle Richards Shares Other Homes With Mauricio Umansky
Richards owns several other homes with Umansky, including an estate in La Quinta, California, and a vacation home in Aspen, Colorado. On the “RHOBH After Show,” Richards revealed Umansky was staying at the Aspen house when she was planning a girls’ trip.
“We were supposed to go to Aspen, Erica [Jayne], Dorit [Kemsley], and me…and Kesha was supposed to join us,” the “Real Housewives” star said. “But [Mauricio] was going there, and he was like ‘I’ll leave when you girls come, I’ll go to a hotel.’ And I was like, okay. I was like he always loves to be part of my girls’ trips, even still.”
