Kristen Doute says the guest list for her wedding to Luke Broderick will not include several of their co-stars from “The Valley.”
In an April 2025 interview with Us Weekly, the Bravo TV personality, who is expecting her first child in June, said there are “definitely” cast members who are not getting an invite to her nuptials.
“[They’re] not on my baby shower or my birthday invite list, so they’re definitely not on the wedding list,” Doute, 42, teased. She added, “I think if you watch season 2, you’ll be able to figure out promptly who that would be.”
Kristen Doute Revealed the First Letter of the Uninvited Guests’ Names
Doute made similar comments during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, where she also dropped a big clue to the identity of who will not make the cut for her wedding guest list. ” I mean, they’re not all getting a baby shower or a birthday [invite], so definitely not a wedding invite,” she said. “I think after you watch part of the season, you’ll figure it out very quickly [who won’t get invited]. It’s people who — I’ll say they start with a ‘J.’”
Several “The Valley” cast members have names that start with J: Jax Taylor, Janet Caperna, Jason Caperna, Jasmine Goode, and Jesse Lally.
As for the “Js” who might be on the banned list, there are a couple of easy guesses. Fans know that Doute has sided with Jax Taylor’s estranged ex, Brittany Cartwright, amid their breakup and has called Taylor out for his questionable behavior.
In addition, in “The Valley” season 2 premiere, Doute stated that Janet is “dead to me” months after the two feuded during the show’s first season.
But in the same episode, she praised Jesse Lally for changing “humbling” himself after his split from his wife Michelle. “I think everyone should take a page out of Jesse’s book,” Doute said in the season 2 premiere episode. “He has humbled himself. He has worked on himself.”
Kristen Doute Has Not Started Her Wedding Planning
Doute has stated that she will not worry about her wedding planning until after her baby is born. In the Us Weekly interview, she said planning is “non-existent” for now but that she will likely have a destination wedding due to the widespread locations of their family members.
“Baby planning first,” “The Valley” star reiterated.
Broderick further explained that the guest list will include family and best friends only. “Like the tightest people to us outside of our blood,” the groom-to-be said.
