Kristen Doute Updates Fans About Her Pregnancy

“The Valley” star Kristen Doute updated fans about her pregnancy. 

While recording a November 2024 episode of her podcast, “Balancing Act,” which she co-hosts with her fiance, Luke Broderick, Doute said she has not been feeling well and has been constantly exhausted during the first trimester of her pregnancy. The 41-year-old also said that due to her age, her pregnancy is considered “high-risk.”

In addition, Doute said that she and Broderick “know the gender” of the child they are expecting. Doute said, however, that she and Broderick will not be disclosing whether they are having a boy or a girl just yet. 

“We know now. But we are keeping that to ourselves just for a teeny bit longer. But you’ll know by next week. We just wanted to keep something close to the chest,” said Doute on her podcast. 

Broderick also shared that he is excited to have a child.

“I’m just excited. I’m excited for all the big days. For you to give birth, for the first words, first steps, etc,” said Broderick.

Kristen Doute Announced Her Pregnancy in November 2024

Doute revealed she is pregnant in a November 2024 Instagram upload. In the caption of the post, she referenced that she had previously suffered a miscarriage. 

“so thankful 🤎*as a new mom-to-be, after experiencing a loss there is a lot of fear that comes with the good news. every week, and every ultrasound, lifted that weight little by little. when i saw the baby move for the first time, i finally felt like i was allowed to be excited. i am forever grateful. 🌈✨*,” wrote Doute in the post’s caption. 

Kristen Doute Said She Was Not in a Rush to Get Married After Her September 2024 Engagement

Broderick proposed to Doute in September 2024. While recording a September 2024 episode of the “Balancing Act” podcast, the couple said they wanted to try to get pregnant prior to becoming husband and wife.

“I was like, ‘Yeah, I feel like we’re on the baby train.’ Otherwise, we have to take a break from trying for babies to plan a wedding. We can’t do both. I would prefer not to do both,” said Doute on her podcast. 

Doute spoke about her engagement in a September 2024 interview with Extra TV. She told the publication that fans will see the proposal in the upcoming second season of “The Valley.”

“I was definitely shocked. You guys will have to watch ‘The Valley’ to see how everything panned out. I’m excited to watch all of the before. Because I truly had no idea,” said the former “Vanderpump Rules” star during the Extra TV interview. “So I’m excited to see Luke talk about it. What he had to do. The fact that he even had the ring in our home and it got past me, I feel like detective Doute is no longer.”
