Jeff Lewis Reveals Why He’s Returning to Bravo After a 6-Year Absence

Former “Flipping Out” star Jeff Lewis is opening up about his decision to return to Bravo after a six-year absence.

During the November 26 episode of Nick Viall’s podcast, “The Viall Files,” Lewis said he chose to film another reality television series for Bravo because he wants to drive more traffic to his SiriusXM program, “Jeff Lewis Live.”

“All I really want is money. The only reason I’m even going back to Bravo is for the platform. The platform, which by the way will hopefully bring people – listeners to the radio, subscribers to the SiriusXM. It’s a commercial for the radio. That’s why I’m doing it,” said Lewis to Viall.

Jeff Lewis Shared What Fans Can Expect From His New Bravo Series

Lewis spoke about his return to Bravo in an October 17 episode of his SiriusXM show, “Jeff Lewis Live.” He suggested fans of his series, “Flipping Out,” which aired from 2007 to 2018, will enjoy his upcoming series.

“I am in development right now with Bravo and 32 Flavors productions on a new show for Bravo. All I can tell you is that it will be a docuseries. You can kind of think of it like a ‘Flipping Out’ reboot. ‘Flipping Out’ 2.0,” said Lewis.

He said, however, that “Flipping Out” fans should expect cast changes in the new series.

“My world is very different now than it was in 2018. And there’s a lot of different players now and different faces,” said Lewis.

Lewis also joked that his new show will not be as exciting as “Flipping Out” during the November 2024 “Viall Files” episode. He said he is calmer than how he was when he filmed “Flipping Out.”

“I would act out every which way on every person. On innocent people. Some where not innocent. But a lot were. And I remember my reactions were so big. Because I was already on the brink ready to explode. So I don’t know I bet this next show is going to be boring. I mean I’m still a little eccentric. But I don’t blow up like I used to,” said Lewis during the “Viall Files” interview.

Jeff Lewis Spoke About ‘Flipping Out’ Ending in July 2024

In a July 2024 episode of his podcast “Jeff Lewis Has Issues,” Lewis spoke to his guest, Bravo producer Andy Cohen, about “Flipping Out” not being renewed after its 11th season. Lewis said he was told that the show needed to end because of his falling out with his former assistant Jenni Pulos.

“That’s why we didn’t get a season 12. I was told ‘We don’t see a world where the show could go without you and Jenni.’ And I understood,” said Lewis to Cohen.
