Denise Richards & Her Kids Are in Charlie Sheen’s Documentary – Nothing’s Off-Limits

Denise Richards, along with her daughter Lola, is pulling back the curtain on her life with Charlie Sheen for Netflix’s upcoming documentary “aka Charlie Sheen.”

The two-part special, premiering Sept. 10, takes viewers through the highs and lows of Sheen’s storied career and personal life — and Richards’ presence signals just how personal the project will get.

The trailer shows Richards candidly discussing life with Sheen, offering rare insight into their time together and the aftermath of their split.

The doc arrives alongside Sheen’s memoir, The Book of Sheen, creating a double dose of reflection from the former “Two and a Half Men” star.

Richards & Sheen Relationship Timeline

The pair first met in 2000 on the set of “Good Advice” and reconnected a year later when Richards guest-starred on “Spin City,” according to PEOPLE.

The two had a whirlwind romance and were engaged by December 2001, with Sheen proposing during a romantic getaway in Arizona.

They tied the knot on June 15, 2002, in an intimate ceremony in Brentwood, California.

Two years later, their first daughter, Sami, was born in March 2004. Just months after announcing they were expecting again, Richards ended up filing for divorce in March 2005 while six months pregnant with their second child, Lola.

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum has previosly spoke out on how it was to co-parent with Sheen.

In March of 2025, she opened up to The Daily Dish on where it stands with raising their now-grown children.

“Truth be told, I don’t really call it co-parenting. I call it parenting. He has his way and I have my way,” told the outlet. “And when things are good with he and I, we get along [and] it’s amazing. And when it’s not so good, it’s not so great.”

Sheen Made an Appearance on Richards’ Show

Richards had her ex on an episode of the second season of “Denise Richards and Her Wild Things.” 

Ricahrds and her daughter Lola met up with Sheen at a restaurant, which marked the first time Sheen appeared on Bravo, according to E! News.

During the meal, Sheen stated, “You know, I’ve never been on a reality show.” He then revealed he had only recently watched an episode of RHOBH.

“I never saw the show until about three days ago and I stumble into this fight that you’re in with Lisa[Rinna], but I didn’t have the backstory, so I couldn’t really pick a side,” he said. “I mean, I picked yours for obvious reasons. Our lunch is going to look nothing like that.”
