Captain Sandy Yawn took an unexpected dip in the pool in a hilarious video that was shared to social media.
Yawn’s wife, Leah Shafer, posted the video to Instagram on Tuesday, Aug. 5, giving fans a good laugh.
“She said I don’t play enough… so I played 🫣😂,” Shafer captioned the funny video. “Yep, I might have pushed my wife into the pool. I’d say her motivational speech worked!”
In the video, the “Below Deck” star was walking around the pool when Shafer acted as though she was going to move a raft. In that moment, Shafer decided to make her move as she playfully pushed Yawn into the water. She then proceeded to jump into the pool as the two laughed.
Yawn responded to the video and wrote, “Leah baby! ❤️at least you jumped in with me. ❤️”
Shafer Defends Her Bold Move
Shafer defended her choice as she said she was only giving her wife a “jumpstart.”
Executive producer Nadine Rajabi commented, “Hahahaaahahahah so good,” on the video, causing Shafer to reveal more information on the gentle push.
“[S]he was going to take a shower anyway so I just give her a little jumpstart lol she’s always telling me how I am never playful enough so here you go lol,” she wrote.
Yawn added, “[S]he got me!”
Fans couldn’t get enough of the funny moment between the two.
“I love your playful banter your a lovely couple who are meant to be together,” one user wrote.
Another jokingly added, “She can never accuse you of not being a good listener!”
The Two Tied the Knot in 2024
The couple met in 2018, when Shafer decided to DM the Bravo star, according to PEOPE.
The two ended up getting engaged in September 2023 and eventually wed in 2024.
Yawn shared a sweet post after marrying Shafer and included a series of images from the big day. The two ended up picking a yacht for the location of the event.
“On May 11th, 2024 I married the love of my life. I had no idea how amazing marriage could be! It feels incredible and I feel like the luckiest woman in the world. I love you, Leah Rae Yawn!!” she wrote.
The 60-year-old added, “Thank you for taking my name! Thank you to our entire family and friends for coming out to show your love and support to our relationship.”
