Brittany Cartwright Packs on the PDA With a New Man as Kristen Doute Dubs Him ‘Wonderful’

Brittany Cartwright appears to have a new romance blooming. Nearly a year after filing for divorce from estranged husband Jax Taylor, “The Valley” star stepped out in West Hollywood with a handsome mystery man who, according to eyewitnesses, seemed to be completely focused on her.

The sighting comes just days after Taylor, 46, was accused by several women of inappropriate behavior tied to his now-closed bar, Jax’s Studio City. While her ex remains embroiled in controversy, Cartwright, 36, looked radiant and happy alongside her new companion.

Brittany Cartwright’s Mystery Man Steals the Spotlight

Cartwright attended the At Home With Narwal’s End of Summer Soirée on August 21 with her “Valley” co-star Kristen Doute and her new date, who insiders described as “tall” and “handsome.”

“It was clear he was Brittany’s date for the evening,” a source told the U.S. Sun on August 22. “He was very respectful and gave them their distance to have a girls’ chat, but he only had eyes for Brittany.”

Throughout the evening, the man was attentive and affectionate. “At one point, he was seen rubbing her shoulders. He was very handsome and being coy but extremely attentive and joking with her,” the insider added.

After spending more than an hour at the event, the couple left together, holding hands. “They were holding hands as they walked to the valet,” the eyewitness said. “Brittany looked quite smitten and was glowing all evening. She appeared to be enjoying his company, and they made a cute couple.”

Kristen Doute Approves of Her Friend’s New Romance

Doute, 42, later confirmed to People that Cartwright’s mystery man isn’t just a fling. “She has someone in her life that’s really amazing that I am head over heels for,” Doute said. “She’s dated people during her single years since her ex-husband, and I have not approved of them. They’ve been fine, but not wonderful. This person is very wonderful and very cool. [He has a] very family-feeling.”

Doute also revealed that Cartwright’s new love interest is a father, which she believes makes the connection even more natural. Cartwright, who shares 4-year-old son Cruz with Taylor, has made co-parenting a priority since separating in 2024.

Cartwright and Taylor tied the knot in 2019 but announced their split last year. While the divorce has not yet been finalized, Cartwright recently explained on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” that the process is moving forward.

“We both, like, didn’t send in all of our stuff at the right time,” Cartwright admitted in July. “It’s a lot of stuff that happens, so October 15 is the new date and it’s going to happen.”
