Who Gets Fired on ‘Below Deck’ Season 12?

Season 12 of Bravo’s “Below Deck” has barely set sail, and viewers are already placing bets on who might get fired this season. With Captain Kerry Titheradge returning to lead the crew aboard the motor yacht St. David, longtime fans know that no one’s job is safe when the stakes are high.

Returning alongside Captain Kerry are familiar faces Chief Stew Fraser Olender and deckhand Kyle Stillie. They’re joined by a fresh lineup, including Chef Lawrence Snowden, Bosun Caio Poltronieri, deckhands Jess Theron and Damo Yorg, and stews Barbara Kulaif, Rainbeau de Roos, and Solène Favreau.

With Bravo fueling anticipation and teasing the drama before the seasons launch, sharp-eyed fans have identified three crew members most likely on the chopping block: Chef Lawrence, Kyle, and one of the stews.

Chef Lawrence, Kyle, or a Stew: Who’s Most at Risk?

In the Season 12 premiere, stress in the galley was immediately visible. Chef Lawrence, a newcomer with over 15 years of fine-dining experience, appeared overwhelmed as provisions arrived. In an early scene, he admitted to past struggles with anger and addiction, and asked a camera operator not to film him as he wrestled with the yacht’s equipment. “It’s going to be a long six weeks, isn’t it?” he remarked wearily.

Captain Kerry, sensing trouble, advised him not to shoulder everything alone. As the chaos starts to unfold, fans have already begun questioning whether the chef can handle the intense work environment. “That chef isn’t making [it] to the end of the season,” one viewer commented under Bravo’s YouTube clip. Others echoed similar doubts, calling the galley “carnage” and warning that if things didn’t settle, the captain might need to call in backup.

Meanwhile, Kyle faces a different kind of risk this season. According to US Weekly, gossip quickly spreads that Kyle “potentially crossed the ultimate line with a charter guest,” forcing Captain Kerry into a tough leadership decision. The official trailer hints that the crew suspects Kyle of getting too close to a married guest, raising the stakes for the deckhand’s future onboard. When confronted, Kyle reportedly dodges giving clear answers, leaving Captain Kerry in a bind.

Adding to the tension is friction in the interior team. While Chief Stew Fraser holds his team to high standards, clashing personalities among the stews could jeopardize the harmony he’s aiming for. If tempers boil over, it’s possible one of the stews might be the first to pack their bags.

Stakes Are High in Anguilla, St. Barths, and St. Maarten

Per The Daily Dish, the stakes this season are heightened by the stunning backdrop of Anguilla, St. Barths, and St. Maarten. As the crew navigates choppy interpersonal waters, they must also deliver seamless service to high-maintenance charter guests.

Speaking to Us Weekly ahead of the premiere, Fraser teased, “There are firings. There are hirings. There are disasters left, right and center. But I cannot tell you enough how dramatic and how fun this season is. It is nonstop.”

Whether it’s Chef Lawrence’s mounting stress, Kyle’s questionable boundaries, or clashing stews causing disruption, fans will have to stay tuned to see who Captain Kerry ultimately decides to let go.
