“Vanderpump Rules” alum Ally Lewber recently spent time in Charleston, SC, where she reportedly filmed with the “Southern Hospitality” cast, according to an insider.
A source told OK magazine that the ex-girlfriend of James Kennedy hopes to be featured on the fourth season of Bravo’s “Southern Charm” spinoff series, which follows the employees of Leva Bonaparte’s Republic Garden & Lounge in Charleston.
“Ally has filmed for the show,” the insider told the outlet. “She’s definitely trying to be featured on the show. She doesn’t have a role on the show. She won’t be a cast member. …Her family lives in Charleston, but she wants the limelight and to be a reality star so badly.”
Lewber’s family lives in Charleston, where “Southern Hospitality” is filmed. When she was still dating Kennedy back in 2023, the couple spent the Thanksgiving holiday in the South Carolina city, per BravoTV.com.
“Southern Hospitality” Season 4 began filming earlier this summer with Reese, Bradley, Bonaparte, Bradley Carter, Emmy Shartrett, T.J. Dinch, Grace Lilly, Michols Pena, Mia Alario, and Molly Moore.

After Lewber split from Kennedy in late 2024, Reese told Us Weekly that she checked in on her friend. “I’ve reached out to Ally, and I’ve talked to her,” the DJ said in February. “But I just wish the best for both of them.”

Ally Lewber Said She Knew of ‘Vanderpump Rules’ But Met James Kennedy Organically

Lewber met Kennedy in 2022 when he was a cast member on “Vanderpump Rules.” She has admitted that she was aware of “Vanderpump Rules” before dating Kennedy and appearing on the show as his girlfriend on a recurring basis. Still, she claimed that she was never a fangirl.
In an interview on Gia Giudice’s “Casual Chaos” podcast, Lewber said, “When we started dating … [people] would say things like, ‘Oh, she was a fan of the show or whatever.’ And it’s like, I don’t live under a rock. I literally live in LA. I like reality TV. It’s a reality show based off of LA.”
“But also, I never would say like I was a fan of the show in a sense where like I never had an intention, where I think that’s where people think like ‘oh did she like go to meet him?’” Lewber added. “It’s like I wish like I had a story like that, but no I don’t. It was totally… organic unexpected … I wasn’t looking for anything.”
