Zara McDermott took to Instagram on August 4 to post a photo of herself and Louis Tomlinson kissing. Regarding the caption, she simply used the red heart emoji. The singer then took to the comments to reply, saying, “I love you.”
Naturally, this serves as confirmation that the two are dating after months of speculation. So far, the sweet post has more than 258,000 likes and thousands of comments from fans supporting their union. This comes after Louis Tomlinson seemingly referred to being in a relationship on X.
He posted on the platform on July 14, “The last few months have made it impossible to be on here. All the conspiracy chat about my relationship, my son, or even stretching sometimes to opinions on my Mum. It’s just too much and too hurtful for me to see! Thank you to everyone who always has my back!”
This Isn’t the First Photo Zara McDermott Has Shared of Louis Tomlinson
It’s unclear when Louis Tomlinson and “Love Island” star Zara McDermott started dating. However, signs point to them having been romantically involved as early as April. According to E! News, she has been sharing photos of the singer for some time now.
Notably, the outlet reported that she posted a photo of breakfast plates on her Instagram Story in April. The kicker is that Louis Tomlinson’s tattoo sleeve could be seen in the picture. The pair also went to Glastonbury together in June. Before this, Zara had been linked to Sam Thompson, who is a British television personality.
He’s Also Working On New Music
In addition to being in a new relationship, Louis Tomlinson is also seemingly working on new music. As fans know, the One Direction star’s latest solo studio album, “Faith In The Future,” was released in 2023. The singer also released a live album in 2024.
Regarding the new music, he posted on his X account in January and teased the news. According to him, “Hope everyone’s doing alright! Had a good break, looking forward to getting back to it. India is going to be special, it’s somewhere I’ve dreamt of playing for a long time!”
