Another season of “Big Brother” is almost here!
While the show is mostly about deception and betrayal, many of the houseguests often take things a little too far. Who can blame them? They’re cooped up in a house for months on end with strangers that are also competing for a life changing amount of money.
Below are a selection of the craziest, angriest moments in the show’s history. It’s not ranked nor is it complete. But it’s fun to look back.
Evel Dick’s Wayward Tactics – BB8
Dick Donato used intimidation to make the other houseguests uneasy. He intentionally did this at points in order to save his daughter, Danielle, from being put up on the chopping block. Other times, he was just employing his namesake.
Keesha’s Birthday Catastrophe – BB10
Keesha’s birthday turned not-so-happy once Libra, April, and Jessie’s argument turned into a house-wide issue that involved everyone. Whispery yet loud; petty and serpentine. This match was one for the ages.
Chima’s Mic Drop – BB11
Chima was furious after production overrode her Head of Household nomination using a production twist that ended up helping America’s favorite players. She walked around the house without her microphone (a big no-no when it comes to the show) and was later expelled.
Chima also confronted another player, Russell, about his conduct in the house during an intense screeching match.
Rachel vs. Ragan – BB12
Rachel returned to the house after a now unused Pandora’s Box twist. Ragan tore her apart in one of the most savage verbal confrontations the show has ever aired. In fairness, Rachel did chide Ragan with a comment about cookies.
Da’Vonne vs. Paulie – BB18
Da’Vonne unleashed her fury on Paulie after he was exposed as manipulating multiple alliances while they lived inside of the Jury House post-eviction. She called him out and ot became a screaming match to remember.
Amanda vs Elissa- BB15
Amanda went on a rampage against Elissa that was pretty much bullying. The intimidation tactics never worked. However, Elissa’s retaliation was mostly passive aggression that Amanda responded to with aggressive aggression.
Josh Bangs Pots – BB19
In an event that happened more than once, Josh banged pots around to wake up Mark who refused to get out of bed. Josh would pull this move again against Mark, who responded by physically taking away the pans. The feed cuts to black in the latter scene so viewers are left with interpretation as to what happened after that.
Bayleigh’s Blow-Up – BB20
Bayleigh screamed at Tyler in an explosive house meeting after learning he backdoored her. As she gets angrier, her voice gets higher. Tyler did handle the situation with care though.
They would eventually settle their differences a few years later during a season of “All Stars.”
Christmas and Da’Vonne – BB22
Whether it’s passive aggression, micro-aggressions or a mixture of the two, the battle between Da’Vonne and Christmas turned from gameplay into personal attacks. Alumnus of the show would call out the issues with Christmas as well.
