‘Big Brother’ Villain The Mastermind Finally Breaks Silence

One of reality TV’s most bizarre villains is finally stepping into the spotlight — or at least slinking out from the shadows. The Mastermind, a cloaked chaos agent who’s been tormenting the “Big Brother” house all season, has granted an exclusive interview ahead of his next devious move. And true to form, the mysterious figure kept things cryptic, creepy, and oddly fashionable.

From abducting host Julie Chen Moonves mid-broadcast to unleashing secret accomplices and raiding the house’s hidden safe, the Mastermind has introduced a level of surreal mayhem never before seen in the long-running CBS competition. But despite his antics (and the destruction of his tropical island lair), the Big Brother baddie seems far from finished.

The Mastermind Dishes On Fashion, Feuds, And His Ultimate Goal

Sporting an ominous hood and a flair for drama, the Mastermind opened up to EW in an interview about many different things, including his wardrobe and what became of his stylist. “Style icon Mon Won designed all my looks,” he said. “Unfortunately, I had to feed him to my sharks after he took some unflattering measurements.”

Pressed for insight into his long game, the Mastermind declined to reveal much — except for one unexpected confession. “What kind of Mastermind would I be if I told you all my evil plans?” he teased. “But, I will reveal one goal… losing 15 pounds by September. My cloak is a bit tight.”

He also brushed off criticism of his failed alliance with Amy, a former in-game accomplice. “How dare you disrespect the Mastermind with such an insinuation?! Next question.”

“Big Brother” Villain Talks Julie Chen, Diary Room Drama, and Future Twists

As for orchestrating the daring “abduction” of Julie Chen Moonves, the Mastermind teased, “My minions are everywhere. They’re even spying on you, Dalton. And the amount of time you spend watching the BB Live Feeds is a bit troubling.”

Not all plots have gone according to plan. When asked about Amy, his former in-game accomplice, the Mastermind showed rare frustration. “How dare you disrespect the Mastermind with such an insinuation?! Next question.”

Rumors of a feud with fellow “Big Brother” legend OTEV? Denied. “OTEV is a shapeshifting master of disguise, and I am a Mastermind. We’re good friends. Every Tuesday we meet up for ice cream.”

As for life post-lair, he says his new villainous headquarters is coming along nicely. “I installed a trapdoor that drops unsuspecting victims into my new piranha pool. Oh, and I just set up Paramount+. That Mayor of Kingstown is my fave!”

“Big Brother” airs Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays on CBS, with episodes streaming on Paramount+. With the Mastermind still lurking, viewers should keep one eye on the Veto and the other on the shadows.
