‘Big Brother’ Fans Think They’ve Already Found the Secret Accomplice

Season 27 of “Big Brother” didn’t waste a single second before dropping a twist that feels ripped straight from a spy thriller. In the premiere, Julie Chen Moonves threw us into full-on mystery mode by revealing that one of the houseguests is the “Secret Accomplice.” This player is immune from eviction and gets to mess with the game behind the scenes, totally under the radar. And yep, after just one episode, the fandom already thinks they’ve cracked the code.

Here’s the kicker: live feeds haven’t even started yet (those only go live after tonight’s episode). But if you thought that would slow down the sleuthing, think again. Fans are already neck-deep in Twitter threads, Reddit breakdowns, and TikTok rewatches, analyzing every sideways glance, suspicious cutaway, and oddly timed diary room. The obsession is real!

Mystery Houseguest, BB Mastermind, The Accomplice… Oh My!

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any messier, “Big Brother” legend Rachel Reilly was dropped on us as the 17th Mystery Houseguest. But plot twist: Rachel is not the Accomplice. Nope. That cloak-and-dagger role belongs to one of the original 16 players.

According to Men’s Journal, the Accomplice is “working for the BB Mastermind behind the scenes to wreak havoc on the game.” So, while Rachel’s hanging out as a wild card, the real puppet master is hidden among the OG group. The catch? If the other Houseguests guess The Accomplice’s identity before the clock runs out, that player is immediately out of the game. Fail to do so, though, and The Accomplice drops the secret and officially becomes a regular competitor, now chasing the $750,000 grand prize. Pressure’s on.

Why Fans Think It’s Morgan

So who’s the prime suspect? Morgan’s name keeps popping up all over X (formerly Twitter), Men’s Journal reports. Naturally, we had to dig in and see if they were right. And the evidence speaks for itself.

One person even posted, “if this subtle editing doesn’t tell you she’s the secret accomplice idk what will. Watch the Video. It’s Morgan,” with a video of Morgan in the house.

“I suspect Morgan to be this secret accomplice🕵️ Love her but they showed her a little too much for doing a little too little🤔,” another viewer chimed in, agreeing.

And then there’s the classic gender-balance theory, because “Big Brother” loves keeping things symmetrical. One fan said, “Pretty sure it’s a woman since Rachel is an official HG and they usually like to balance out the number of HGs by sex so I’m thinking the accomplice is either Ava or Morgan.”

The Secret Accomplice Could Be Anyone

Other theories floating around online include Ava, Rylie, Amy, and even Will. So, it’s anyone’s guess at this point.

One Reddit fan even graced us with this confusing (yet, somehow, wise) comment:

The bottom line: the “Secret Accomplice” twist has officially turned “Big Brother” 27 into a full-on detective show, and fans couldn’t be more hooked. So buckle up, because this season’s about to get wild; and the sneaky player lurking in the shadows is just getting started.

Season 27 of “Big Brother” airs Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 8/7c on CBS.
