“Big Brother 27” houseguest Jimmy Heagerty is opening up about his eviction, sharing new insight into his gameplay, his relationships in the house, and the surprising moments he discovered after leaving the house.
Jimmy Heagerty Reacts To Comments From Mickey Lee And Morgan Pope
Speaking to The Post, Heagerty admitted his perspective on fellow houseguests Mickey Lee and Morgan Pope shifted after watching back some of their conversations. “I understood the game move at the moment and understood how their perception could allow them to assume my intention, and I gave them more of the benefit of the doubt,” the strategy consultant said. “Seeing what was said over the last two weeks, like during my HOH throughout the rest of my time on the show, was very surprising.”
While he acknowledged that some remarks felt more personal than strategic, Heagerty kept things lighthearted. “I’d still like to talk to them on the outside,” he said with a smile. “Based on the game both of them are playing, I think I’ll be able to talk to them very soon.”
The three were once part of the “Triple Threat” alliance before Lee, 35, and Pope, 33, decided to send Heagerty home during Thursday’s episode.
Jimmy Heagerty’s Playful Approach To Strategy & Memorable Moments
Looking back on his time in the house, Heagerty was quick to own his style of play. “At the end of the day, I was gossiping, I was being very shady, I was stirring the pot,” he admitted. “So was I doing it as much as they thought I was? No. But was I doing it? Oh, absolutely.”
He even revealed a final, mischievous move before leaving. “I opened a box of condoms and threw one away before I left to stir the pot,” he laughed. “I didn’t come in there to play a clean game. And maybe that was my mistake — but I had fun doing it.”
Heagerty also spoke warmly about his friendship with “Big Brother” Season 13 winner Rachel Reilly, calling their connection one of the highlights of his season. “Rachel is the only person I cried over after I left,” he said. “We’re kindred spirits. We’re both Libras… She’s the only person on the show who’s going to be in my wedding. So I think that says a lot.”
“Big Brother” airs Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and streams on Paramount+.
