“American Ninja Warrior” returns for its 17th season on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 8/7c on NBC, bringing with it a fresh set of athletes ready to take on one of television’s most demanding obstacle courses. Fans can also stream the action the next day on Peacock.
Hosted by Matt Iseman, Akbar Gbajabiamila, and sideline reporter Zuri Hall, NBC announced Season 17 will include six weeks of thrilling Qualifier Rounds in Las Vegas, followed by three weeks of intense Semi-Finals. The competition will culminate in the National Finals, where the best Ninjas will race head-to-head in a new bracket-style tournament for the title of Grand Champion and a grand prize of $1 million.
“This season is really looking at the future of Ninja but also celebrating the past,” Iseman told NBC Insider. “We saw some upsets that you never would’ve predicted in a million years. And then we saw redemptions that just made your heart swell. So the season was filled with so many highlights and so many incredible moments.”
Where and When to Watch “American Ninja Warrior” Season 17
The exciting new season begins June 2 at 8/7c on NBC, with new episodes airing every Monday. Peacock subscribers can catch up the day after each episode airs, starting Tuesday, June 3.
“We keep making the course harder, and [the Ninjas] keep getting better. They keep training, and it’s like the never-ending quest for us to push the limit,” executive producer Arthur Smith told Deadline. “They started with building courses in the backyard, that was reasonably early in the run. Now there’s Ninja gyms everywhere and then to Coaches and then to trainers. Now we have kids who say, ‘I’m not going to play soccer. I’m doing Ninja.’”
For fans eager to see the athletes in person, NBC Insider provides details on how to get tickets to live tapings of “American Ninja Warrior.” Interested audience members can apply to attend a taping of ANW by visiting the On Camera Audiences website.
“Ninja Warrior is unlike any other sport I’ve seen, where truly every athlete is looking to elevate themselves, as well as everyone around them,” Iseman told NBC Insider. “Once you show up, you are a Ninja. And I think that’s why so many people love being affiliated with this … Ninja is truly this community that embraces everyone, that celebrates everyone.”
What to Expect This Season
After rigorous training and preparation, competitors will battle for the coveted Last Ninja Standing title and the $1 million prize. Jessie Graff, Vance Walker, Jesse Labreck, and other fan-favorite Ninjas are expected to dazzle viewers once again, bringing their skill, determination, and inspiring backstories to center stage.
Tune in Mondays at 8 p.m. Eastern starting tonight, June 2, 2025, for one of the most thrilling seasons yet.
