As Kelly Clarkson continues to focus on her children after the death of their father, Brandon Blackstock, at least one of her planned commitments for August will go on as scheduled.

Kelly has postponed the August shows in her “Studio Sessions” residency in Las Vegas. And the former “American Idol” was also set to begin filming season 29 of “The Voice” later this month, but according the US Sun, she will now miss the first few tapings to be with her children.

According to Just Jared, season 29, which is titled “The Voice: Battle of Champions” is set to begin soon. Filming Battle Rounds is currently scheduled for August 21 and August 22. And Knockouts Rounds are scheduled for September 5 and September 6.

Reba McEntire, who was Blackstock’s stepmother, also missed “The Voice” season 28 tapings in the week following his death, according to the Sun..

But Kelly’s four-episode special, “Songs & Stories With Kelly Clarkson” was filmed before Blackstock’s death, and is still set to begin airing August 19.

And now we know more about what to expect.

Episode One of ‘Songs & Stories’ Will Feature the Jonas Brothers

According to NBC, the first episode of “Songs & Stories With Kelly Clarkson” will feature the Jonas Brothers.

Kelly will not only sing with the JoBros. She will also spend part of the hour-long program talking to 37-year-old Kevin Jonas, 35-year-old Joe Jonas and 32-year-old Nick Jonas.

The trio just embarked on their 20th anniversary tour and dropped their new album “Greetings From Your Hometown.”

The 50-stop tour will keep the brothers busy through mid-November.

The set list is a mix of Jonas Brothers hits and songs from each of the brothers’ solo careers.

During an appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon,” Kevin told Jimmy,  “There’s so much music to play, the setlist is hard to build, right? But at the same time it’s so fun because we do get to take breaks and admire each other’s work at the same time.”

That episode airs Tuesday, August 19.

Kelly Chats With Gloria Estefan August 26

The second episode of “Songs & Stories With Kelly Clarkson” airs Tuesday, August 26 on NBC.
