Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are reportedly going through a rough patch in their relationship. The couple, who have been engaged for six years, are allegedly on the verge of breaking up, and fans have mixed feelings about it.

According to Page Six, things are “over” between Perry and Bloom, adding that they’re merely “waiting till her tour is over before they split.” Perry is currently on her “Lifetimes” tour, which is expected to wrap up in December.

Meanwhile, PEOPLE reported that Perry’s world tour and new album contributed to the strain in her relationship with Bloom. A source told the outlet that the singer was “very stressed” about the reception of her new music, as well as the negative reviews of her tour.

“Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album,” the insider told the outlet. “It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.”

There were also reports that Bloom and Perry have been spending more time apart. A source told Us Weekly, the couple has “grown apart and aren’t living the same lives anymore.”

Another insider revealed to the outlet that the two are not on the same page and have been like this for quite some time. “It’s an unspoken thing that they are having issues and have for a while now,” the source added. “Everyone around them knows.”

And while Perry and Bloom got engaged in 2019, their wedding plans have been on hold. The insider claimed the couple “never set a date for the wedding or got around to planning anything and Orlando is ‘over it.'”

Despite the breakup rumors, fans remain hopeful that Perry and Bloom can work things out for the sake of their child. One Reddit user commented, “That’s really sad actually, considering their daughter. I hope the kids will be okay.”

Another shared the same sentiment on X, “I hope this isn’t true for her kid’s sake.”

Others have expressed sympathy for the former “American Idol” judge, especially given the criticism she’s faced this year. One fan wrote on Reddit, “If this is true, this year really has not been good for Katy Perry.”

Another commented, “I sort of hope this isn’t true because a person can only take so many hits, and KP is just getting ripped apart lately. But also, chill Katy.”

Bloom and Perry briefly split in March 2017 before reconciling nearly a year later, in February 2018.
