Everyone deserves another shot at love, but Jennifer Lopez may be officially off the market for good when it comes to marriage. During a recent stop on her “Up All Night” tour, the 55-year-old superstar was captured on camera responding to a fan holding a sign that read, “JLo, marry me?”
The former American Idol judge Lopez laughed before replying, “I think I’m done with that. Yeah, I tried that a few times.” Her comment comes just months after finalizing her fourth divorce, this time from Ben Affleck.
A Complicated History With Marriage

Jennifer Lopez has walked down the aisle four times, each relationship making headlines of its own. Her first marriage was to Ojani Noa in 1997 after the two met at a Miami restaurant. The union lasted less than a year.
She married dancer Cris Judd in 2001 after meeting on the set of her “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” video, but that relationship also ended quickly. They divorced in 2003. Lopez’s most enduring marriage was to Marc Anthony. The longtime friends tied the knot in 2004 and welcomed twins Max & Emme in 2008. They separated in 2011 and finalized their divorce in 2014.
She was later engaged to Alex Rodriguez, but the couple ended things in 2021 before making it to the altar. In 2022, she married Ben Affleck, 20 years after they had first called off their engagement in the early 2000s.

Their rekindled romance ended in 2025, just after their second wedding anniversary.
J.Lo Debuts Breakup Anthem Amid Divorce
As Lopez publicly closes the chapter on marriage, she’s channeling her emotions into music.
During the July 8 opening night of her “Up All Night” tour in Spain, the singer premiered a new breakup ballad titled “Wreckage of You.”
“This is a new song that I want to sing for the first time tonight that came to me when I was up all night one night,” she told the crowd, according to a fan-recorded video.
Lopez described the song as one of reflection, growth & heartbreak: “The love I want, the love I need, it starts in me / Now I found my way here, I’m gonna stay there.”
She also sang about pain and transformation: “Thank you for the scars you left on my heart / It was showing me that stars shine brighter in the dark / I won’t fall apart because of who we are, but your broken parts.”
Lopez Chooses Self-Love Over “I Do”
While Lopez hasn’t ruled out love entirely, her recent comments and musical direction suggest she’s focused on healing, self-worth, & independence.
For now, the pop icon seems to be embracing a new chapter—one where the only vows she’s making are to herself.
