If anyone has any questions about how Jelly Roll feels about his wife, Bunnie XO, a new video should put those questions to rest.
The first-ever artist-in-residence on “American Idol,” has been on the receiving in of questions lately as fans point out that they haven’t seen him and his wife together much.
Bunnie XO was quick to put those concerns to rest on her “Dumb Blonde” podcast, explaining that the couple’s quest to get pregnant through IVF treatments have forced her to stay close to home while Jelly Roll tours.
“Somebody said the other day, they’re like, ‘They used to always be together. Now you never see them together,’” Bunnie said on the podcast, “I’m like, ‘do you guys not know for the past six months I’ve been trying to make a baby?’”
Bunnie pointed out, “Luckily, I have the luxury of being able to work at from home … he doesn’t. He has to make appearances.”
And though she may not have been there, Bunnie XO was getting plenty of love at one of those appearances.
Jelly Roll Posts Fan Tribute to Bunny XO at One of His Concerts
In a new Instagram post, Jelly Roll showed just how much fans care about his wife. In the video, he asks for the house lights to be turned up for a minute as he zooms in on a shirtless teenaged boy holding up a yellow poster board.
The posterboard reads “We’re here for the Bunnie XO.” Jelly Roll narrates, “It says ‘we’re here for Bunnie Xo’ – it’s like three teenaged boys with their shirts off. That’s awesome! Send that to my wife!”
The camera pans back to Jelly Roll, who looks into the lens and says, “I love you Mama Bear. Look what you’re doing to these teenaged boys girl!”
In the caption, Jelly writes, “Look what you’re doin to these boys mama🤣🤣 @xomgitsbunnie”
Jelly Roll Credits His Wife With Making Him a Better Songwriter
In a video posted on the Tennessee Titans’ Instagram account, Jelly Roll is giving a motivational speech to Nashville’s NFL team when he tells them his wife has played a key role in his success.
“I started becoming a better songwriter when I started becoming a better husband. I started becoming a better performer when I started becoming a better human,” he told the team.
Jelly Roll continued, “I started becoming a better son when I started prioritizing my mama’s calls. It’s funny how the heavens started opening up for me just cuz of how I was treating relationships everywhere else.”
