Sofia Vergara knows how to stop us mid-scroll. The 52-year-old actress and model left her 35.6 million Instagram followers buzzing after dropping a sizzling bikini throwback this week. Captioning the post “#tbt Mex. ☀️,” Vergara left fans delighted with the retro glimpse into her modeling days.
Of course, striking swimsuit photos are nothing new for the Colombian-born beauty, who has been modeling since her early career.

The superstar has spent much of her early career modeling swimwear, and her glamorous journey in the spotlight shows no signs of slowing down today.
Shining on “America’s Got Talent”
Beyond Instagram, Vergara continues to light up the screen as a judge on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”. Since joining the show in 2020, she has helped guide countless hopefuls while sitting alongside Simon Cowell, Mel B, and Howie Mandel.

Her professional success has come during a time of personal transition. In 2023, Vergara ended her seven-year marriage to actor Joe Manganiello. Despite the split, she has embraced independence, telling Hello! magazine, “I don’t feel like I need a man. I mean, no, I want one but I don’t need one.”

In a People cover story last May, Vergara reflected on the realities of dating later in life. “It’s already hard for a fiftysomething-year-old woman to find someone,” she admitted. Still, she is open-minded about who she might end up with, adding, “I’m not going to be picky about, ‘Oh, he can only be a doctor. Oh, he can only be an astronaut.’ No, I mean, I’m not that picky.”
