Who Got the Golden Buzzer on ‘AGT’ Tonight? 8/5/2025

Auditions for Week 9 on “AGT” 2025 take place tonight on NBC. Fans of the show want to know: who got the Golden Buzzer on “AGT” tonight? We have the “America’s Got Talent” spoilers on whether any of the acts tonight got that Golden Buzzer and moved directly to the “America’s Got Talent” season 20 live shows.

Any contestants on “AGT” that impress the judges — Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Melanie “Mel B” Brown — can be awarded the Golden Buzzer. For the week 9 auditions, we have eight different acts taking the stage. They all have a chance of possibly getting a Golden Buzzer.

All the Golden Buzzers Handed Out?

Last week on “America’s Got Talent” season 20, we saw Howie Mandel hand out his final Golden Buzzer to the dance group Unreal Crew. He was the last person to have a Golden Buzzer left to give. Does that mean we will just see auditions tonight and no Golden Buzzer acts?

To be honest, that is how tonight should work. The “AGT” judges, along with host Terry Crews, have all handed out the two Golden Buzzers they are allowed to hand out each season. That means we should just see the final acts take the stage before the judges determine which 44 acts are moving on to the live shows. We will keep you updated as tonight’s episode airs.

August 5 Live ‘America’s Got Talent’ Updates – Week 9 Auditions

8:22 p.m. – Two acts have performed. While Howie wanted to give a Golden Buzzer to B Unique Crew, we still don’t have any Golden Buzzers handed out tonight. Both acts did get four yes votes.

8:33 p.m. – Husband and wife comedians each performed separate acts on “America’s Got Talent” season 20. While both of them got four yes votes and are both moving on to the next round, no Golden Buzzers were handed out.

8:42 p.m. – Three more auditions were highlighted, and no Golden Buzzers were handed out. It looks they are saving it for one of the final acts of the night. Or will no one get one tonight on “AGT?”

We have now made it through all of the auditions on “America’s Got Talent” 2025 tonight. The judges did not hand out any more Golden Buzzers for season 20. No new Golden Buzzer winners tonight.
