Week 7 of auditions on “America’s Got Talent” 2025 takes place tonight on NBC, and fans of the show want to know: who got the Golden Buzzer on “AGT” tonight? We have the “AGT” spoilers on which act got one of the judges to hit that Golden Buzzer and move them onto the “America’s Got Talent” season 20 live shows.
Any contestants on “AGT” that impress the judges — Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Melanie “Mel B” Brown — the most can be awarded the Golden Buzzer. For the week 7 auditions, Jessica Sanchez returns to the “America’s Got Talent” stage and wows the judges, especially Sofia Vergara, and earns the coveted Golden Buzzer and a trip to the live shows.
A Triumphant Return
Jessica Sanchez originally appeared on “AGT” during the first season of the show. At the time, she was just 10 years old, but did make it all the way to the semifinals that season. Now, 19 years later, she makes her way back to the stage to audition in front of the “AGT” judges once again.
At 29 years old, the season 11 runner-up on “American Idol” made her triumphant return to the stage. Before singing, Sanchez talked with the judges, telling Simon that she fell out of music because she was so young and everyone was telling her what to do. Now, almost 20 years later, she knows exactly what she wants and exactly who she is.
She also happens to drop some big news, telling the judges that she is now married and also happens to be pregnant with her first child.
A Golden Buzzer Performance
For her audition, Sanchez sings “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone. She definitely puts her own twist on the song, getting the audience cheering and screaming for her. The rasp in her voice on some of those notes sounds so good and earns her a standing ovation from the judges.
As far as the feedback from the judges, Simon said the people behind him are the only ones that matter, and he thinks they like her. Howie said: “Twenty years is a long time, but it was well worth the wait.”
Mel B said she was “speechless,” and Jessica has the “voice of a bloody angel.” Sofia said she wasn’t sure what happened over the last 20 years, but this was a special moment. Because of that, she said Jessica deserves this and proceeds to hit the Golden Buzzer. Let the tears flow!
A Second Golden Buzzer Tonight
In a twist, we saw a second Golden Buzzer handed out tonight, this time from host Terry Crews. The BoykinZ are a quartet of singing sisters from Atlanta. They said growing up, the Spice Girls were big influences, and they were ecstatic to meet Mel B backstage.
For their name, Boykin is their last name, and they are all born in Gen Z, hence where their name came from. They said they are a country-infused band with western, R&B, and hip-hop, and they dance.
The sisters definitely have a unique and different sound. Their harmonies are beautiful and they have such strong stage presence. Backstage, Crews said they are The Supremes meets country. The whole building seemed to love them, that’s for sure.

After amazing feedback from all of the judges, the audience got up on their feet and started chanting, “Golden Buzzer.” Mel B said she didn’t have one to use. However, Terry Crews did, and he made his way to the judges’ table and slapped that button, and the gold confetti came down. Howie said he was going to do it, too. Regardless, The BoykinZ are moving directly to the live shows on “AGT” 2025.
