‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 20 Week 4 Details

Season 20 of “America’s Got Talent” continues to bring the heat. This week, another eleven acts will take center stage with the hope of moving on to the next part of the competition. “AGT” fans have a lot to look forward to, from a magician who claims to put the “A.I in ‘magic,'” to a rapper who performs with his cats. As always with “America’s Got Talent,” here’s no telling what will happen.

The fourth episode will air tonight, June 17, on NBC.

THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR “AMERICA’S GOT TALENT” SEASON 20 EPISODE 4

This Week’s Line Up: Magic, Music and More

Tonight’s “AGT” hopefuls have a wide range of talents, according to Talent Recap. Fans can expect to see singers, acrobats and dancers among the acts trying to wow the judges.

Here are some of the acts featured in the Week 4 line up:

  • Duo Soma, an Argentinian acrobatic duo. Their act sometimes includes a “perch,” where one performer balances atop a long pole carried by the other.
  • The Funkateer Dancers, a Michigan-based dance group founded in 1976. Let’s see if they can prove to the judges that their funky old-school moves are still fresh!
  • Moshow, the self-proclaimed “Cat Rapper.” Moshow has amassed over 1.4 million followers on TikTok, where he often posts freestyle raps featuring his five cats. Will his charming act snag him a spot in the next leg of the competition?
  • Mama Duke, an award-winning hip-hop artist from Austin, Texas. Earlier this month, she gave a Ted Talk titled, “Making Your Own Magic By Making Yourself Magic.” Tonight, we’ll see what “magic” Mama Duke is able to create onstage.
  • Mastermind, a magician who calls themself “the love child of Darth Vader and Harry Potter.” Their Instagram account has posted cryptic, A.I-generated videos counting down the days until the June 17 episode airs. The episode’s description references a “powerful magician” who takes control of judge Howie Mandel’s phone; can Mastermind’s act take them to the next level?

Also slated to perform tonight are Loco Pop Familia, a dance group who wear matching animal costumes, Steve Ray Ladson, a talented musician who performs songs in a genre he calls “Blackgrass Brothercana,” and Jonglissimo, an Austrian juggling team that holds 35 world records, among others.

Another Former ‘AGT’ Contestant Will Return

Japanese comedian Wes-P (also known as “Mr. Uekusa”) will join the other new contestants in tonight’s episode.

He first auditioned for “America’s Got Talent” during Season 13, during which he was eliminated in the first round for his risqué novelty act (which included Wes-P stripping down, stacking a tablecloth and teacups on himself, and then removing the tablecloth with a large fan – all without dropping the cups).

Wes-P returned to perform in the 2024 “AGT” spin-off series “America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League.” However, he was eliminated before the semi-finals. Tonight, we’ll see if the fan-favorite will move forward in the competition again.

Wes-P isn’t the only former contestant to try again this season. The Messoudi Brothers, a death-defying balancing act that stunned viewers back in Season 14, returned to the “America’s Got Talent” stage last week. The duo’s combination knife-throwing/balancing act even earned them a Golden Buzzer (awarded by Mel B).

Which one of this week’s acts will be the next to receive a coveted Golden Buzzer?
