The auditions on “America’s Got Talent” season 20 come to an end tonight on NBC, as the week 9 acts take the stage for the “AGT” judges — Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Melanie “Mel B” Brown. It will be a busy night of performances and decisions, as we find out who will move on to the next round and which 44 acts will make the “America’s Got Talent” 2025 live shows.
Final Acts Audition on ‘America’s Got Talent’ Tonight
For tonight’s auditions, the judges will see eight acts perform for a spot in the next round of the show. Will any of them get the Golden Buzzer?
Time will tell, but NBC gave a sneak peek of B Unique Crew. They had Sofia Vergara jumping out of her chair. One of the members used to be a part of Unreal Crew, so we have a rivalry brewing. Will they get a Golden Buzzer like Unreal Crew did last week? Find out tonight!

August 5 Live Recap – Week 9 Auditions

Things kick off with a countdown in the corner, with one hour and three minutes until the live show reveal, so the top 44 reveal will start then.
Osso Brothers
Their parents were acrobatic, so that’s what they’ll be doing tonight. They want to impress Simon the most tonight. The brothers are 19 and 14 years old. They are definitely an amazing act, with the younger brother flipping around and the older brother showing off his strength with those flips. The brothers seemed to come so close to hitting their heads on the ground, or so it appeared.
Judges’ Feedback: Mel B said she loved it and it was unexpected. Howie said what they are doing is amazing, and never seen it with young people like this. Sofia said everything was flawless and nerve-wracking. Simon said they were two little caterpillars that turned into butterflies. It four yes votes from the “America’s Got Talent” 2025 judges.
B Unique Crew
They are a dance crew from India, with one of the guys actually being a former member of Unreal Crew, which got a Golden Buzzer last week. Howie said they don’t have any more Golden Buzzers, but they can do a Golden Buzzer-worthy performance. They are very similar to Unreal Crew and combine the optical illusions and contortion to freak out everyone watching. It’s cool to see it all come together, but they are definitely a smaller group than Unreal Crew. It can be felt, but they end with one of the guys literally turning his head 180 degrees.
Judges’ Feedback: Sofia said this was spectacular and amazing. Mel B said it was unique and that the timing they had to have on point, and it was perfect. Howie said he wants to press the Golden Buzzer, but the producers are saying no. Simon said he wouldn’t, as they are good, but it felt too small. While Howie wanted to give them a Golden Buzzer, they will settle for four yes votes.
Husband and Wife Comedians
Matt O’Brien is up first and he had some good jokes and had the judges impressed. They all seemed to love him and he got four yes votes, so he is moving on.
Then his wife, Julia Hladkowicz, comes out and shocks the “America’s Got Talent” 2025 judges when she says Matt is her husband. The competition begins now! She talks a lot about wine and her husband, and she definitely had Sofia and Mel B giggling at her. Howie and Simon seemed to enjoy her also, as she got all of them, but Simon gave her a standing ovation. The husband and wife are both moving on, as Julia got four yes votes also.
We see some quick auditions on “America’s Got Talent,” as Church Friends and Fruit Punch take the stage. While both of them are enjoyable, the judges aren’t feeling either group, and they are both sent home.
Alex Blanchard
She is a dancer from the U.K. and is nervous about being a solo act, but knows she has to prove herself on “AGT” season 20. She even traveled here alone, and just turned 18. No need to be worried, as she is an awesome dancer. She is doing flips and tricks, which are so impressive to watch. She gets a standing ovation from Howie and Mel B.
Judges’ Feedback: Mel B said she doesn’t know what you call that, but it was brilliant. Howie said there was a transformation once the music started. Sofia said she did a lot of gymnastics and that made it exciting. Simon said it looks like she put in a ton of work and it was brilliant. It’s four yes votes for Alex.
Avalon Penrose
She is super nervous backstage and spills water on herself. On stage, she told the judges she was a childhood opera singer. She then quit because she was having panic attacks when she performed, but she is back to try and find her voice again, 14 years later. She starts singing and has a good operatic voice, but then a bunch of guys come out on the stage with props. As she is singing, she is doused with paint, feathers, whipped cream pies, and confetti. Mel B gave her an “X” vote. She said she does this, as it’s the only way she feels comfortable.
Judges’ Feedback: The judges aren’t overly impressed with the props aspect, but Simon said he’d love to hear another song. Avalon agrees to another song, but she needs Simon and Howie to throw the paint and pies at her, and they agree. It turns into a paint balloon and water fight between Simon, Terry, and Howie. What about Avalon and her singing? Despite the mess everywhere, Avalon got four yes votes, and she is moving on.
Time for the Top 44 Acts To Be Named
The season 20 auditions on “America’s Got Talent” are now complete. The judges will now determine which acts are moving on to the live shows, and up first will be the acts performing in week 1. Those acts will be:
- Steve Ray Ladson – He
- B Unique Crew – Howie wanted to give a Golden Buzzer to this group, but he was all out.
- Loco Pop Familia – They are dancing cats, even if Mel B thought they were annoying.
- CitiLimitz – This group, however, won over Mel B’s heart.
- Phobias – Simons hates clowns, but he thought they were brilliant.
- Shuler King – Comedian
- Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras – From “Vanderpump Rules” now to the live shows on “America’s Got Talent” season 20.
- Sirca Marea – Acrobatic duo
- LightWire – The first Golden Buzzer of the season.
- Charity Lockhart – This was one of Mel B’s Golden Buzzer picks.
- Jourdan Blue – One of Howie’s Golden Buzzer picks.
Quarterfinalists Week 2 Performers
The following acts will be performing live during week 2 of the quarterfinals on “America’s Got Talent” season 2:
- Leo High School Choir
- Ben Hightower – He’s like a lookalike of Benson Boone singing “Pink Pony Club.”
- EDT Dance Team
- Alain Simonow – A 24-year-old magician
- Bay Melnick Virgolino – A 10-year-old rocker
- Alex Zinger – Dancer
- Mama Duke – Her original song went viral on TikTok, and I loved it.
- Boston Dynamics – Robotic dogs
- Jonglissimo – Jugglers
- Duo Stardust – One of Sofia’s Golden Buzzer picks.
- Unreal Crew – The final Golden Buzzer winner of the season.
Quarterfinalists Week 3 Performers
Now we are moving on to the acts performing in week 3 of the quarterfinals on “America’s Got Talent” 2025:
- Micah Palace – His audition got over 46 million views online.
- Maceo Harrison – He is a member of the Savannah Bananas.
- Mastermind – Magician
- Benn Family Band
- Anna Saranina – She was once a member of Deadly Games, one of the best danger acts in “AGT” history.
- Austin Brown – A 39-year-old singer who originally got a no from the judges, but he stuck around and got four yes votes, and now he’s going to the live shows.
- Chris Turner – Freestyle rapper
- Girish and the Chronicles – A rock group from India.
- Jacqueline & Wagner – They are rollerskating acrobats.
- Messoudi Brothers – Mel B’s other Golden Buzzer pick
- Jessica Sanchez – Sofia’s other Golden Buzzer pick, who happens to be seven months pregnant right now and will be eight months pregnant when she performs on the live shows!

The final set of performers for the quarterfinals on “America’s Got Talent” 2025 are:
