Many saw the post but didn’t read the full caption, leading to a brief wave of panic as some feared the beloved actor had passed away.

The Instagram post (seen above) was a simple promotion for “10% off all signed Feeny photos” from his shop “now through September 15th.”

But what followed in the comments, was a rollercoaster of emotions. Fans were quick to voice their (mistaken) panic: “RIP! Great actor!” one fan wrote, while another admitted, “Man my brain cells stopped. I thought this man passed. I’m glad he didn’t.”
